Does this mean you have been soft R’d? Does anyone get an II after no under review email?
My friend who submitted 7/31 and got an II didn't ever get an under review email.

It seems like I saw a bunch of R’s and II’s like a month ago for Tulane in this thread and then everything seems to have calmed down with little to no R’s. Not sure what gives

It's interesting to see how applicants got an email notification about their application being "under review," but I only received an interview hold notification back on 8/5, and nothing in between.

it seems like if you don’t get an under review email then you are going to be placed on an interview hold. Unless you applied ED.
Early September, most likely. Late September, maybe. Might have to wait a few days
I don't think this is true and am sort of beginning to think it is somewhat random. I got an under review email and received an II as an RD applicant, but my friend did not get an under review email and received an II as an RD applicant. Doesn't really seem to be much of a pattern.

Hopefully because still no under review email for me since late July 😔
I got an under review email pretty quickly, then was placed on hold...so I think there's just no actual pattern

Depends on your interviewer.
SP: pretty chill and fun
Student interview: very very chill extent
Physician interview: got grilled a bit, but still very enjoyable.

So sorry if this has been asked before. I have been under review at this school since 7/22 so nearly 3 months. Does Tulane tend to ghost people or should I still expect to hear back one way or the other?
I'm in the same boat and have been dying to know this. Anybody got an clarification?

It seems like they already sent out a bunch of rejections early on so I assume no news is good news? Otherwise they would have just rejected.

I was under review 7/23 and I got an II on 9/8, about 1.5 months later. When I went to schedule it the earliest date was in Nov, >2 months from the II date, so I honestly think they're super backed up on applicants rn. If you haven't been put on hold for an II my guess is that they actually like you enough to give an II but need to work through their current interviews rn since you wouldn't be scheduled until December or even 2026. I bet they'll start releasing more after today since people are going to start withdrawing as acceptances start rolling in and are going to try to fill out the vacated interview slots
I'm pretty sure the earliest interview slots are all now in 2026.

Tulane has a large class size, is high yield, and is ranked ~#86, so they have a ton of WL movement. I would guess this is one school where it isn't the end of the world if you don't interview until the new year!

Also under review since 7/10. No hold or R, just radio silence so far. On their website, they explicitly say no news is good news: Timelines & Deadlines | Tulane School of Medicine. Hoping we're just in the queue!

I interviewed 9/4 and yea nothing... I am also LM 70 so idk if its cuz im lower stat or sum
