Wow that's surprising. Previous years all had waitlist movement after April 30th.

Got off the VCU waitlist today and had a quick question about traffic rules since the April 30th date passed. I had already selected “Plan to Enroll” at another school (Creighton) before April 30. Now that I’ve been accepted to VCU, do I need to withdraw from Creighton immediately, or is it okay to take a short amount of time to decide? The email said I have 2 weeks to accept the offer, which I did on the portal, but haven't done anything on CYMS. Also, do I need to switch my PTE designation to VCU right away?

Do you actually prefer VCU? While you are thinking it over you can temporarily hold 2 schools.
Then designate the one you prefer as PTE

In the email all it said was that their internal CTE date is June 15th, and I have 2 weeks to accept their offer, which i already did. just a heads up idk if your email is different but on mine it says after april 30 you have 1 week to give a decision from the time of acceptance!

i see that too, but that's just accepting their offer on the portal and putting down a deposit, both of which i did. im just confused because that doesn't mean we have to withdraw other acceptances right?

Well I don’t think there’s anything you can do now! It’s a lesson to remember though, to think carefully before you act. The new school gave you 2 weeks to decide and you could have asked them “can I extend that to after second look day?”
