I voted MsP starting I would go back and look at the last time they wolfed, look bad, saw stark differences in play styles, and switched my Lynch

Oh ok, I'm pretty sure she played that game but maybe it was one of the ones where she was killed early. Or something. Zen-like is not something I would associate with her in WW. The argumentative tone here is not, on its own, unusual for her.

I understand that. but I pretty ****ty about trying to get her to help me not get lynched and have that happen. Especially since I lynched her early last game, I feel really bad. She doesnt deserve that. And you know what? I AM tired of noobs getting lynched early game after game while you vets all circle jerk together. it's pretty old. You all have made it pretty clear that anyone new joining your games isn't really welcomed.

I frequently heavily defend new players and your tenure has literally nothing to do with why I voted for you today. I'm sorry you feel that is the case.

I am fond of Ziggy, don't like to see her die early, and Ms. P's comment about making a 3-way sketched me out. I get anxious near lynch close, and usually waffle poorly. Most of the time I can resist the urge to move my vote needlessly, but not tonight. Can I blame it on the cognitive dissonance resulting from my transition from a bunny snuggle session to the wild accusations and arguing of WW?

I actually truly understand your frustrations. I believe I was also a person that bitched about veterans always lynching the newer players when I was a newer player. But you know what I got better and they stopped doing it. I feel your pain but that is not what happened here today. Promise

No. Stop this. I have run multiple games specifically to get new players to join and I'll be damned if that effort and the effort of the people who volunteered to be mentors is forgotten because you guys have a chip on your shoulder about being lynched. None of us sit around chatting about how we're going to intentionally get new players lynched D1. In fact the only time I've actually seen that be a thing prior to this past dead chat was other veterans talking about the challenge of getting each other lynched D1. Newer players get lynched D1 for a lot of reasons, but it's not because we don't want you guys to play or because we sit around talking about how great it is to lynch noobs. Not to mention the pool of newer players is actually a lot bigger than the pool of veteran players in most games (depending on where you draw the line). So just statistically speaking, it's going to happen more often. Add on the fact that new players are often still figuring out their play style and how to come across as village to other players in the game, it is not surprising that lynches go through more often. It is harder to get a veteran players lynched because we have a lot of practice with what helps avoid getting lynched. But it is not a targeted, planned thing, and I'm pretty sick of it being portrayed as such. MsP wasn't just lynched by a bunch of veterans, was she?

I was going to say something about this too - not necessarily the dead chat bit, but just how it was interesting she said something to MsP about her role instead of posting it on thread, and then turned around and lynched MsP when that wasn't even necessary for self prez anymore. Very odd.

I had a post lined up with my role on it and was going to vote with miz to tie it. I also planned to tell me role to msp, not like you care

It was for self prez when I tried to type it out... just because people voted like two seconds in front of me doesn't mean I could see those. I was going to vote miz but had to untype and type quickly. Sorry I couldn't keep up I guess

I was not referring to any ties that may or may not have occurred (if they did they lasted for all of two seconds), I was referring to sudden bandwagons in the last 5 minutes of the day

I thought you said earlier the tie wouldn’t be beneficial to village for this kind of game.

Just confused how you saw the votes in time to realize that they were swinging to MsP but not in time to see that one of them was also pulling a vote off of you :shrug:
