I'm having a tough time deciding between the two schools. they're both great schools with good rotations and post graduate residency placements. I'm OOS for both schools so the cost is about the same. Anyone current, former, SDNers care to chime in on the pros and cons of each school?

I would go with Rowan. It is a pretty solid state school.

CCOM is a pretty solid school too, but their class size is larger and their tuition is over-priced.

MWU is a money driven health sciences instutition... Rowan is a reasonably respected public university that hosts both a DO and MD medical school, which says a lot. That alone would be enough to sway me towards Rowan.

The thing about Rowan is that they require 12 weeks of FM rotation in your 3rd year. I'm sure you'd find a lot more rotational freedom elsewhere

They both cost relatively the same
Assuming you're OOS for Rowan. I can't say much about ccom, but I loved My interview day at Rowan. Too bad I got wait listed from there. They're both top schools.

did anyone get a phone call from rowan today?

I got the call two weeks ago two days after my interview. But i only just got the acceptance packet and i still haven't been able to come up with a good consensus for either school. Especially since I got accepted back in October at CCOM, I'm trying to recall my impressions of that visit that day
