Mechanics
  • Yeet close is 10PM EDT.
  • Night closERROR
  • Majority starts Day 2.
  • Assume yeet is closed when majority is hit even if no mod is available.
  • When someone is yeeted, they will nominate three players. Only those three are eligible to be voted the next Day. Submit death nominations in your role PM by 9:59:59 PM EDT. The most recent submission is used and supplemented with random picks if necessary. This is disabled during YoLo.
  • Every three Days, there will be a one Day break.
  • No Yeet is disallowed.

Rules
1. Make at least 10 posts per Day. Naked yeet votes don't count.
2. Everything may be edited but yeet votes. Just be sure to not delete stuff. Bold or ##sharp sign## (or ♭ ♭ flat sign ♭ ♭ to trigger me) your votes.
3. No quoting, copypasting, or otherwise duplicating mod messages from role PM. Use paraphrasing.
4. No screenshots.
5. No asking for subs on thread. Use your role PM instead.
6. Dead cannot post anything in game thread but encouragement for their preferred team.
7. Spectators cannot post in game thread.

Hi friends!

This game has a very unique structure, so I think we need to develop a plan of action. Without night phases, and with a highly non-standard process for determining Day phase eliminations, it would seem unwise to me to approach this game with a normal willy-nilly kind of mindset.

I don't think it'll necessarily call for a total overhaul of style, but I suggest a strong emphasis on process of elimination and teamwork. Town reads seem extremely valuable and necessary, more than they would be in any old game. We should also have at least some brief discussion of how people should be choosing their three candidates if they happen to get voted out.

This shouldn't get in the way of solving, so by all means do your thing as you please too.

Just so i understand, the player who gets yeeted picks 3 people to be the only yeet options the next day?

In that case, having a POE would be useful

What's really interesting about this is that if we vote people for having disparate reads lists, they'll give us a non-POE batch for the next day

It does create some inherent balance/game-lengthening though because whichever team gets voted on one day is slightly more likely to not be the same team voted the next day, unless a villager with bad reads gets yeeted

With this in mind, it is very important that we avoid solving on islands in our own bubbles. That's not to say we all have to agree (indeed, dissenting views should be stated clearly) -- but there will have to be some semblance of teamwork when days end. If a town player gets voted out, they'll need to swallow a little pride and work with the group on at least some portion of the names they submit.

and we get punished for yeeting a wolf i guess. no yeet is not allowed.

In a way yes, but it's also possible that wolves will take advantage of the WIFOM and put a wolf in their three, so we can't necessarily clear the three people who get chosen by a wolf

Should it be a thread consensus or the person’s personal POE?
Cause if I got yeeted I’d probably just turn it right back on the people who lead my wagon lol

At the very least, a combination of the two. If town works together hard enough, they ought to overlap pretty well.

This setup seems designed to test town poise, especially when voted out. Teamwork shall, as ever, make the dream work.

oh JJ you're going to love this then. i'm seriously thinking about voting for you. because 1) this game plays to your strengths as a wolf and i think you'd be really hard to catch. and 2) if you are village, i think you'd do a good job setting us up for a good D2 yeet.

I’d certainly try my best to live up to #2 if I had to.

If you vote for me for any reason other than “Jay is wolfy”, that should be regarded with suspicion.

Anyway, my genny squints were:

Her first post just seemed too snarky. I know genny is snarky. This squint is dumb, but my gut squinted. This is anatomically possible.

Her discouraging thread consensus strikes me as openly wolf-sided. So I squinted again.

Reasonably based

Not as based as voting out Clem tho

I am in ecstasy

Either I don't get killed cause nobody wants me to pick the yeet choices->big dub for clem

Or I do get killed and I get to pick the yeet choices->also a big dub for Clem
Now Clem, why wouldn't we want you to pick the yeet choices?
