Never mind-another friend said he got the "application complete" email from Einstein a few days before an interview invite. The email probably means exactly what it says, and I'm just way overthinking this :unsure:

I sure hope so! Although I could also see it being the week after if programs are off for the week for the 4th of July.

Wow, that will be a difficult choice. I'm surprised that an option was given. It will be hard not to assume that they will favor those who show up in person.

I really thought that interview invitations were going to be dumping on us today, but maybe next week will be the week. This is stressful, and it's tempting me to add a few more programs last minute!
 
I know its hard, but be patient. The interviews invites have started and will trickle in through the summer. Last year I had an invite in late July for an August interview. Programs should give you enough time to schedule travel etc. It's all part of the fun lol.

Personally, I think its irresponsible of them to even provide that option, given the situation in Houston. And I agree, it might work against those who choose to not show up in person.

UIC invites sent out today, interviews will be done via Zoom on either 07/15 or 07/16

No but I did email them in early June to check if my application was complete and they said yes.

PASS email from the program director. I didn't see anyone else on the email. I think they're sent out individually.

They said later dates may be available in end of the July or early August if needed. But no specific dates.
So maybe there’s still some hope :)

So institutional letter is getting delayed due to closure during covid. Can schools download application without it or will it consider incomplete until it get submitted? this situation is eating me alive. :(

Anymore updates from Nova about a possible 2nd round of interviews?

I know ppl interviewed on June 30, but have they called to fill the spots yet? Or when did they say those that interviewed should expect to hear a decision by??

Just curious cause really hoping for an interview invite!

I think last year they only did one round and candidates were mostly informed within 24-48 hours.

They usually give offers the same day. As far as second round, I think it depends if they have selected all 6 candidates

Hi. So I'm not sure anyone can answer this with a high level of certainty but I looked back to my experience last year to hopefully give you some helpful information with a historical context. Remember, this was last year and a lot changes from year to year so it really is anyone's guess.

Last Year, I received a bulk of my interview invites mid July (July 7-July 16th) and received my last interview invite on July 29.

I remember from my time researching these threads CWRU can reach out as late as early Fall (September maybe?) for an interview invite. I did not get invited to CWRU so I can't say when they sent out the invites last year.

I guess this is a long way of saying if you don't hear anything by august it may not be looking good.

I Hope this helps remove some uncertainty for some. Good luck all. try to stay patient.
