Wow...this is ridiculous. If you guys really want to fall for SOV's pathetic pleas to live, then lynch me. I can't believe that you would lynch the villager who is trying to out a wolf just because it's "safer." You have NO CLUE what my role is so how would you know it's not more important than an his.

I won't be around at all this weekend anyway....so lynch away if you think you're so smart, but it's a waste.

What is going on? No one knows (except the mods that is). After a furious he said, she said battle, SOV seems to have prevailed. He won enough people over to his side to prevent his demise. Yet someone had to go. The people have spoken and philliab was chosen for the ultimate sacrifice. The players tied her to a stake and started throwing stones until philliab, a villager was dead.

Mods control the game tonight. PMing is allowed for both groups. You may PM your groupmates and SOV. All roles for both groups are active tonight and may be used. However, all items are inactive and may not be used or passed.

Night deadline of 7pm central

I doubt y'all are in a mood to trust me, but I think the opening to these results says it all. The mods want us to be confused.

Not sure how to resolve this, maybe someone has an idea.

1) You can waste another investigation on me and see if results change for some reason, but I doubt that is worthwhile.

2) Investigate someone else. Maybe it will give back similarly vague accusations (proving my innocence), or you will find a real wolf (proving my innocence), or you will find an unambiguous villager (proving the mods are just jerking my chain for some reason).

i beg of you to still send me the items, because doing my assembly job seems the surest way to prove to you I am not a wolf.

I mean, I would swear on all future WW games that I am a villager. Really, you never have to trust me again, but really, I am not a wolf.

Why not just announce: "This is the screw SOV once again night so we can get rid of him" NIGHT.

Laugh it up dirty old whip man... but I expected better from you Lissarae, must be the spawn growing inside you that has taken control of you and turned you into a mean vindictive mod. 😡
 
🙁 I thought lynch deadline was noon central? I thought I had enough time to make it.

I don't trust SOV. (but then, I never do :laugh:) He is sounding way too much like DocE. Someone else please investigate him tonight(obviously not by the Laminator, but don't out your role as Seer, so have someone else tell the thread!)

Let's be honest. SOV, I would have voted for you just for trying to end the game in 2 days! 🙄

You guys should take a look outside! The sky is a blood-orange color! :laugh:

Also, remember guys, Mods don't always give definitive results. Sometimes, ok almost always, they like a little mystery to stir things up. In many games, when investigating someone, I got results like Philliab did. Saying I 'sensed they were a wolf', or so-and-so 'seemed wolfish', or so-and-so 'shook my hand with a buzzer'.
 
Damn. Sorry Philliab. The way you and your homies were grasping at straws looked wolffish.

I've never gotten a "seems wolffish" line from a mod before. I was hesitant to believe that mods would say that crap to stir up crap.

:laugh: Never underestimate a Mod! Remember, LIS wanted to be co-mod just to cause trouble.

I didn't think they would make it so obvious last game that the mayor was actually THE Mayor. 🙄 That was a huge mistake on our part.

This is super confusing but I feel like either phil or SOV has to be a wolf and it wasn't phil...and i just never know what is going on with SOV i think he is capable of anything! 😕

can't decide if it would be worth it or not to re-investigate SOV but obviously not with the thermal laminator. If we do, it should at least tell us if either 1) the item is faulty or 2) SOV really is a wolf, so I'm thinking it may not be a bad idea? because otherwise we won't know if we can trust the results of the thermal laminator ever and it gives wolves way too easy of a defense

Yup. I don't really want to trust an item that only hints at someone being a wolf. It sounds like Phil's item only hinted at wolfishness but was certain about SOV being an engineer.

I remember back in the dog game where I was a wolf, I had the ability to convert someone over to wolf status after so many days of game play. There were a couple with the role "hybrid" that could switch over to wolf after a certain amount of time as well. Maybe SOV will have that capability, or maybe everyone with an actual role has the chance to be switched by a wolf after X number of days and that's where the item is sensing "wolfishness"?

I had no idea that an item could suggest at an person being wolfy. Just the way Philliab was gunning reminded me of some of the pleas I have heard when a wolf is about to be lynched.

Can't we lynch SOV after the contraption is built? There is no way it could just end the game and kill all of the good people off. Unless the mods are super evil.

This place could not get more confusing, or could it? The night was a quick one. Our players were very fast in their nighttime actions. People were sneaking around and around in the night. One of these sneaking players never made it home, however. FFM, a villager was found dead in a dumpster. How sad for him.

Group the Second now controls the game. They may PM each other and SOV, as well as use their roles. Group the First may NOT PM each other or use their roles. All items have been reactivated and may be used at the appropriate time.

Going back to check, Krist is the only player who has switched groups thus far, at least that I saw. Sorry if I missed someone else- not meant to be a lie, just a human error. Not sure if we should be basing a lynch vote off of that, but that's about all I have to go on right now 😕
 
Has a wolf eve had the ability to move groups? Usually it's an item or a good role.

Whoo, back! Something silenced me the last cycle.

krist's last post seemed a little...suspicious to me. And knowing SOV's general strategy as a wolf, I don't think he's a wolf. And I most DEFINITELY would not put it past LIS to put in an item that senses every person it checks out is a wolf. 🙄

I dunno, I'm not convinced of his innocence. And I believe it was a role that ended night early after getting SOV out of trouble vote-wise.

I have no idea why I moved, the mods told me i felt threatened so move groups, but then I moved back because I felt the threat was over 😕 I have no ability to move or item or anything like that, just an honest FYI

Kidding...I dunno...I feel like when he throws a lot of info right out there from the get go, he tends to...not be as innocent as he seems, but then again, it has been a while since I have seen him as a villager...so really...not a clue on this one.

No idea who to vote for yet...i'm gonna sleep on it right now rather than RNG. Will post again in the am. Slept horribly last night, so I need to get some shuteye before sheep lectures. 😴

Not lots of time since I'm in lab and on my phone; I'll write more later. I supposely drank a potion two nights ago and was silenced for the last day and night cycle.

I'm not convinced about the Krist lynch, because there have been situations where people moved groups before and they weren't wolves. Didn't that happen in Doctor Who? Also, I am suspicious of SOV but I would like to see a second investigation on him. I don't think it would be a waste if we want to clear our confusion about him.

Krist, are you saying "anonymous" messages sent by the mods are rarely trustworthy? Just wanting to clarify because I am new.

I am unsure of what exactly I believe. My gut right now is that SOV and trematode are both wolves. I'm still somewhat willing to believe SOV is a villager, but I think some of trematode's posts were pretty illogical last cycle defending SOV and that casts suspicion on them both.
