You missed multiple something’s multiple times. There were at least 3 other completely legitimate and far more useful choices for village for you to shoot and you shot someone who has pretty much been village consensus to leave alone. It was fraught up bad play even if you missed all of those posts about Dubz and now I’m questioning your JOAT claim.

To follow up, Boq could have tried to vig:
PSV
Clem
genny
Chic

All of whom have been significantly suspected by multiple people. All of whom would have given better info than trying to use your vig on than Dubz. And if we include today, all of them have been significant wagons. You could have added Marmot and Mayo to that list too. So why shoot Dubz? It makes no sense to me AT ALL.

We should still go after Genny and Clem today. But at some point I’m going to take a serious look back at boq if he keeps pushing this stupid “fake outrage” angle with his nonsensical vig decision.

I don't think I've ever played or heard of a cult game here. Other than Numbers (just mentioned), what other cult games have run on SDN??

Because I'm in the area of a lot of people's POE where I become a CFD and I'm not willing to play around this game. Enough people are keeping me open as an option. I'm kind of over you treating me like scum all game when if you would read what i've actually said and done all game, I've been pro-village

Probably talking in circles, but I agree with Samac that Mayo held quite a bit of sus leans (even though not in many POEs) and I honestly only recall even seeing him mentioned as a towny read once. Imo, because of that he was a great target for cult leader. Sus leans by many but not pushed is a great way to make it to end game and why I'm rarely a NK target.


If Mayo hasn't been misyeeted, why would converting them be a risk? Feels like it should be the opposite imo.


We do not know this for a fact and it bothers me that I keep seeing this mentioned as a reason for AM to get village cred. AM almost always gets protected early d/t her being seen as a strong villager. I imagine she'd be protected N0/N1 regardless of affiliation.

And here’s a new revelation: there’s no wincon in my role PM! So I’m pretty sure I’ve already won, and will continue to win as long as this game lasts. Which is really how I like to play, so idk what else you want from me.

Could be. I don’t think we really have a choice but to vote you out immediately (or try to).
 
I dont think the "idk what else you want from me" matches with the "I've already won / I dont have a wincon" . If the latter were true, genny wouldnt give a f about what we want from them

Why do you keep asking the question "why did Boq shoot Dubz" when that was answered before you even asked it, a post you even quoted.

I will call it fake outrage until you stop faking outrage.
 
And yeah it is super frustrating to me that I shot someone who cannot be targeted. Regardless of my alignment, that's super suboptimal and I hate being suboptimal in my play. To actually think that I willingly wasted a shot instead of just shooting someone else, be it in the poe or elsewhere, is something I cannot empathise with.

I misplayed. I missed those posts. There are a lot of posts that I haven't read. The only thing I saw about Dubz is that she is a sand snake. I decided to shoot there because we have been yeeting villagers left and right and I wanted to off someone who is kinda here but from my perspective just chilling at the edge of the core. You Stagg can keep harping on about "oooh why did Boq shoot Dubz" (when it has already been stated) or try to make it into a topical time sink, and I will call that wolfy. Deal?
 
Idk what else is expected of me to just say I misplayed? Apologise? There is no tldr in the thread. No sense of what's what. Just like you guys I have a high-maintenance job.

I don’t think it was necessarily suboptimal to shoot Dubz. Sometimes claims need verification. I’m glad to have a little of that.

I don't buy this outrage. I do not buy that someone cannot possible fathom the possibility that a player has not been able to keep up with all the information. I do not believe that someone cannot be generous enough to have that as a consideration and just completely drop it to "now I question your joat claim". You have not even addressed my reasoning to target Dubz. You just write your own theories whilst attacking my play, and comically ask me why I killed Dubz.

Address the reasons I have already stated if you wish to have communication with me. Are they sensible? Are they a lie?

Stagg has said a lot of things I've agreed with.

I do not agree with his current tunneling on Boq. Yes, Boq could have shot at the higher-tier suspects. However, I find it very believable that Boq 1) was not fully caught up, 2) wanted to confirm Dubz's status as untargetable. In the context of a cult, Dubz has only had a few folks vouch for her untouchability, and it doesn't not feel out of scope that Boq wanted to test a theory that they were conscripts and Dubz was cult leader.

Why are you giving Boq so much crap and saying nothing to marmot who has been memeing and misyeeting this whole game?

The worst part is that Stagg is most likely a villager, because wolves have more shame in their bodies to not make pushes like this, whereas villagers are more likely to lack creative and empathetic thought, and believe that "player misplays = player is wolf". So I am separating my own personal annoyance to try to look at it from an objective lens.

I hope this game will form as a lesson that "sometimes villagers misplays, especially because they dont have a wolf chat with people who help them keep up with the game."
 
My read on Stagg has generally been “take samac’s word for it”.

On my own, I find much of his investigative material to be chasing red herrings with unjustified fervor.
