Literary was in March last year.
1.5 years, like March 2022? Okee dokee.

I suppose the question would be: have they played together often enough (and had enough samac-town-reads-mayo situations) consecutively since that incident for samac to develop this impression of her read on him?

There is at least a precedent for her believing this as town (not just having the read, but believing in her ability to make the read): clicky

yeah please do, because based on what I remember, you don't actually have a good rate of catching him when he's scum and you vouching for him in early game is very uncomfortable to me as a result.
Pls note I also did it in Kirby
I think

Those don't really count tbh, it's different when you're actually in it and playing, which is why I can't claim to have an AM reading card despite being quite good at reading her. I need to actually catch her wolfing when I'm IN it first.
Fair enough
I don’t know if we’ve played together enough to claim anything then

SAMAC.

I AM MAKING THE POINT THAT YOU TEND TO TOWN READ MAYO EARLY REGARDLESS.

YOU PROVIDING EXAMPLES OF YOU DOING IT WHEN HE WAS TOWN DOES NOT NEGATE MY POINT IN ANY WAY.
What about samac doing it when samac is town? Isn't that the more important thing?

No. Because my point is that there is absolutely nothing stopping samac from doing this as a wolf.

I have no reason to trust her read on mayo.
I have no reason to trust that her doing this is town because I don't know that she's ever played with him when she was wolfing.

I do not like when people have a level of bravado and confidence in their read that isn't warranted. I further do not like it when that person is not particularly easy to read (for me) in early game.

Oh I just don’t remember

Okay but here's the problem.

She can be wolf. Because wolves exist and they do the things they do as town sometimes. That is always true. Does this mean samac is a wolf? There is a precedent established for this very thing to exist when samac is town. Is it then at worst NAI?

I don't follow.

You know, I don't believe there's ever been a w!samac/v!mayo game so I don't know how they'd respond in that.

It means that her read on mayo right now should not be trusted regardless of her affiliation.

Why are you defending her so hard, Jay?

I'm trying to determine your precise intention, and perhaps you have just clarified. What is more important to shorty: "samac's mayo read is not necessarily solid" or "samac is wolfy"

I think the former is perfectly reasonable. The latter, given the dialogue that just occurred, would require broken logic. Digging into that inherently equates to "defending", but it's evident you two were struggling to communicate, and I decided to add my input.

I have no read on mayo, and I don't think this situation makes samac look better or worse. I'd town lean her on the basis of other things.

I think the main point is we have no reason to assume that this is outside of samac's wolf range (with the unfortunate addition of also not being able to reflect on mayo's affiliation).

Ive played with him as wolf.
I defended him from misyeet.
I think.

I am sure she's capable of making that read as mafia, yes. I don't think it's indicative, but it's a simple enough read that I'd call it NAI.

Someone’s wheezing give you a chill down your spine. The room feels colder than it did a second ago…

I'm about to watch football. Y'all just keep being super, k?
