It's not a strange jump. He has said I'm one of his biggest wolf reads more than once. Not weird at all for me to go "hmm, is he trying to soft something to me? But why...?"

without having looked at the thread since around page 29-30 or so, my top wolf suspects atm are chic and mayo. Last I read, mayo was in the thread with arms swinging. my opinion of chic comes mainly from yesterday, where they went back and forth about a few things and I saw others whose opinions I'd trust on someone I don't know call them out for it. may have been shorty, AM, dya, +/- dubz (the people I'd trust). this thread blew up way too quickly for me and it's hard for me to catch up and remember everything right now.

re: nothing happening over night 0, I believe I've only played a handful of games with a day 0/mayoral election and I seem to recall at least one other having no deaths n0 either. is this typical for games with a day/night 0 in anyone else's experience?

I think I've played both with and without deaths N0, so it's kinda tough to say if ~things happened~ to prevent death or it mechanically wasn't gonna happen.

Will review but initial reads/posting I was like, "Oh, that's my reads list", which I feel like it's never a good sign when someone's reads are that similar to mine in early game. Also, reads seem kind of sheepy with almost no independent info. I'm also fine with the PSV and Chic votes for now. Definitely want to hear more from Clem as I'm getting mild Hannibal Part Deux vibes.

I'd like to give us a shot at assessing some of the players that have been overwhelmed by the activity level (which is completely understandable, no judgment to anyone fitting that description). This might also give them something to work with instead of aimlessly shuffling through 36 pages with no hope of catching up. I'll start with sheltermed and just do a pure ISO review, both because I have no read and they were the first to come to mind when I asked myself "JJJ, who are you absolutely clueless about?"

(posted in response to shorty but also addressed to whoever wants to answer) so, does there tend not to be much redundancy in these games? e.g. there wouldn't be like, 2 seers or 2 jailers for example? what if, say, 3 people asked to be village seer - do we think the first person to have asked to be seer would get it, and then the other 2 would be VT? or maybe it would be rng'd among the 3? Do folks set out to be vanilla town in these games? Also, I may be wrong about this, but do we tend not to have seers in games here anymore? I just used the role as an example, but based on like a game or two ago, I think it's not typical to have those anymore (?)

I will not be reading previous games, sorry, so please don't direct me to them.

I would think one of the shelters should be the shelter leader (I wanted to say this way earlier but forgot and it's not funny nor cute at this point, also I don't have any actual desire to be a mayor because I am trash with many actual skill issues, not a meme)

These are the four posts that I thought were most game-relevant. Thoughts (colors have no bearing on affiliation; they're just reference):

Red - generally harmless Day 0 content, both mechanical speculation and deference of the mayor vote to shorty. The latter could be concerning from certain personalities, and I can't claim to know sheltermed's playing personality -- but I get the impression this is "fine" (like NAI fine). At this activity level and given enough self-doubt, a town player is capable of feeling this way (as is mafia player of just saying it).

Green - This is the first concrete read I have observed, and I think it should be a meaningful one. chicandtoughness seems like the game's most consensus suspect, so for sheltermed to join in that consensus is notable. The importance may depend on chic's affiliation (e.g., if town, I might view this with concern of opportunism).

Blue - I think I like this a bit? From an "I'm way behind and just trying to be a part of the game" perspective, this approach of having some vague notion of suspicion about mayo and chic, but in part deferring to the perspectives of others whose abilities you trust (e.g., shorty) -- I recognize that from myself. I handled AM's mayo suspicion in this way. I don't quite understand it, but I take it seriously because of the source. I think AM has a good bead on vibes, and so her word carries some weight for me.

This isn't a super concrete review, but that was unlikely anyway. If nothing else, it might give sheltermed something to interact with and find footing. The blue bit might be most telling to me, and that'd be a move in a positive direction. Overall there's still a need for more development.
