I feel like the contributions I've seen from him have mostly been "go to bed" or just bolstering someone else's thoughts rather than original stuff from himself. So I think pressure there is warranted.

Oops, I think I've only played with a jester once. Tbh I was just like "oh maybe this thing...?" and searched it on the wiki, which mentioned either being killed or yoten

Season one of this show was golden but it sucked after that
 
Although replacing Samberg with Taylor Lautner playing essentially the same character was pretty fantastic tbf

****oo! The first season is quite good, Andy Samberg in an otherwise British comedy, it meshes surprisingly well. Season two is watchable. There are technically three more seasons, but.

Per chic, Veg having "weak" thoughts is village indictive. So you arguing against me is weakening your case, not strengthening it. So I suggest you either drop it or accept that I can perceive things differently than you.

If that’s how you perceive it, fine. Stop trying to force me to view it differently then, you’re the one insisting it’s “strong”, I disagree.

And you’re really using the argument of how a noob’s perception of another noob from 1 or 2 games should be taken as good evidence against my argument? Really? You and Shorty were just talking about how Veg has only played 4 games and doesn’t have any good village games to reference. And you’re going to try and build a meta from that which I’m supposed to follow? Nah. That’s just weak and the arguments you’re trying to use to counter me are straight sus.

You were the one who specifically quoted me to challenge my viewpoint, not the other way around. So I pointed out the issue. Stop picking fights if you're truly unbothered with me wolf reading these people. It's not making me feel better about you.

Yes, I'm more interested in the words of someone who's played every game another person did over someone who didn't even know said player existed until this game. Their number of games means nothing. Veterans can choke too.

Nowhere did I mention meta so settle down. All I said is that your description is actively clashing with hers so I feel that dissonance should make you want to investigate more. You could ISO Veggie from a different game for yourself and see if you still think that this is hedging for her.

Something off about responding to three Santy jokes as though they're all serious. Even if they're fairly interpreted as serious, these gripes feel forced. What does perceived "blood lust" have to do with affiliation, or why does it matter if there is a "contradiction"?
 
Two premier suspects have provided three reads that strike me as fake:

chic town reading Clem and genny
Veggie wolf reading Santy

Those are probably my most concrete moments of suspicion. Other suspects of mine, like PSV, are based on broader and less localized gripes.

The second one you quoted made me squint in particular because I feel like that was a very obvious joke.

But I'm also being soft and not voting the bby noob so idk what I'm doing with my life right now. Having crippling indecision. Making eggs for dinner at 10 pm.

Indecision is fine. I'm not sure.

However, I was under the impression they've played about four games. In JJJ's world, that's a full-grown Mafia adult. Mafia puberty came and went. Veggie is in Mafia high school now, and I am getting the impression they got a tattoo without our permission.

I hadn't said this before, but genny was pretty close. Early on I felt like there were a lot of posts to appear helpful to village without actually helping. "Yes, and?" kind of posts meant to make village do work for themselves and look busy without actually providing any direction. I did start feeling a bit better as the cycle progressed, but the "isos" of Sheltermed and the recent pseudo-iso with color-coated hedgey reads is literally identical to what he did in Stardeww when I wolfed with him. He literally said in wolf chat during that game that he was doing it as a tactic to look like he was villaging hard without actually saying anything more solid.

Disclaimer: That is the ONLY game I have played with JJJ. I have never seen JJJ as a villager or any other roles and he did say that he had to adjust a bit as we lost 2/4 wolves before D2 in a game that went through D7 and 3 wolves were the leading wagons on D1. Others from The Syndicate are also reading JJJ as town, so I've been trying to my reads with theirs in this situation.

I wouldn't fault you for being bugged by the big ISO. I am sure that looks like Stardeww 2. It IS like Stardeww 2! (at least inasmuch as I did big stinky posts like that)

However, my willingness to do such a thing as mafia is largely driven by the simple truth that I am a big analytic nerd as town too. It's my bread and butter. So I would suggest the following (whether for this game or any hypothetical next time): the question about JJJ is never "is he making big busy ISO posts?" (because the answer is almost always yes), but rather "why is he making them, what is he doing with them, and when is he posting them?"

Otherwise, with respect to the "yes and" type content you mentioned -- that's all part of creating content for later assessment. I call it "facilitating", and I think it's one of the most important things a highly active town player can do. The later I live, the more thoroughly I analyze. The more interactive content that exists in the thread when I get there, the better. So I take an active role in creating it! Wheeeeee!!!

You said "strong" and then changed your wording to "serious". I agree with the latter, but not the former. They mean completely different things to me.

That would be fine except it's only 4 games and according to YOU there isn't a comparable game to reference. I also don't trust Chic's reads right now because they're in my wolfy pile, so why would I consider those reads valid? Are you reading Chic village? If not, why do you think her argument is valid?

What more should I investigate? Chic has been active in thread and I don't trust her reads at this point. What game should I iso Veggie from? If there's a reasonable comparison then maybe I will. Otherwise I'm perfectly content with my reads for now until she comes back and provides more info. I'm fine with leaving a noob for another day to let them play more, especially with the other candidates on the board right now, but it doesn't change that she's one of my top choices for wolf at this point.

people keep saying this and I feel like last year when I played, people were more hesitant to fully commit to a town read on me until we'd caught a wolf, so that being different this time around from the people who HAVE played with me before makes me feel kinda strange, I guess, mostly because I don't understand the change. Not that I had any trouble getting town read ever, but last year from my memory, there was a lot more early game of "shorty feels fine, BUT she could be a wolf she's sneaky"

(that being said I was always a little peeved by it last year because at least the people I remember saying it had little experience playing with me scumming, and notably there WASN'T a shift in that direction after HZD, which I always found very perplexing tbh, so idk)

It doesn't seem weird to me coming from people who haven't played with me.

So 0.1 game is worth more than 4 games? chic is in my low neutrals. I don't ignore everything people that aren't cleared say unless I want to lose the game. My interpretation going incongruent to what chic has said makes me feel less good about Veggie. It has nothing to do with chic's affiliation.

If you think this is hedgy, point out the other games where Veggie was less hedgy than this. Otherwise, you're arguing with me over hypotheticals.

Well, to be fair I never wound up reading *that one* wolf game so I don't know how it played out. I guess I should rephrase it to say you're not a big priority right now. You're kicking people for reads, prompting thoughts, and trying to build a towncore. Obviously you could do that as a strong powerwolf, too. But then again I am soft to powerwolves. So.
Alright then, I guess maybe I should just say you feel like shorty and I want to ring other bells.
