I said earlier that I would read Dina purely on vibes. I changed my mind and have ISO'd her too, in light of my own town read being vague and a few people stating null reads. Let's explore.

I think it makes sense from a perspective of "I wolfed with Dina before and know she absolutely hates it and wouldn't choose it"

I think it makes less sense from a perspective of "inactive Dina isn't a wolf"

Because inactivity is nai for me. Although I do feel more of an obligation to be active as wolf, it doesn't always work out that

In casino we were PM buddies and I was very inactive and she basically advocated for me as village against dubz

So I guess I can kinda see where she's coming from from her POV

Overall a lot of words to answer your question with a 🤷‍♀️

Gun to my head I feel good about samac, but when I think about why, I know it's a bias that she wouldn't want to wolf and not from anything I've seen from her yet

I like JJJ's posts. They feel warm and comfy and remind me of how he posted in Kirby. But I also watched him play stardew so not sure what to do with these initial feelings

Has he done anything in particular to set you off?

I don't think I've ever played with wolf mayo outside of a speed game

Regardless, I can't make sense of his aff with his posts ever (as fun as they are)

I feel like PSV lacks the usual gusto I've seen from her. She feels very defensive and not very offensive. But I've never seen her wolf before and don't know if that fits her wolf meta.

Obviously I can't speak for everyone else, but I was following what you were saying re: PSV replying from a "if I was a wolf" mindset. I was also confused about her jumping to jester as well.

Red - At shorty's request, Dina spent a couple of posts exploring her view of samac (who had town read Dina early). If I wanted I could call this "hedging" or "waffling" or one of those words, but meh. It's fine. She was prompted for a read, and I appreciate that she both tried to be thoughtful but also not to force out a stance beyond "gun to head". Not extremely town material, but fine.

Green - While I'd love to accept the pocket and call it a day, I'll be responsible. This could be called more classically hedgy given the "but" caveat. There's nothing technically wrong with the read, but it's still kind of a take it or leave it. I will call this mostly NAI.

Blue - I like this a bit from Dina, but she identified an important moment that I had glossed over. I will actually poke at it myself after I share this review. Just saying "it's weird to town read Clem" isn't that meaningful, because it's pretty easy for anyone to make that accusation. I like the follow-through though.

Orange - Agreeable take on PSV, albeit one aligned with consensus. Probably not something that should clear Dina.

I included a few other game-relevant posts that might be interesting, but I don't have much to say about them. I'm more or less where I was before: I like the cut of Dina's jib. From an analytic standpoint, she's more null than that -- but I'm still not bothered by anything.

Credit to Dina for noticing and questioning before I did. The backtracks on genny and Clem are as strange to me as the original town reads were. Anyone is allowed to change their mind and develop a read; it's just important to grasp the progression from (A) to (B).

I was already unsure about the sincerity of (A) [town reading genny and Clem]. If the read was honest, however, then it's also hard to understand why they'd have changed in the time since. Clem has gone from doing Clem things to doing the same Clem things, so what inspires the drop to neutral? The genny drop is less significant and can maybe make sense, because genny did engage the game more concretely than Clem.

@chicandtoughness, I know you're already seeing questions piled onto you, so if your time is limited when you next visit, you should ignore me and focus on your own efforts to solve the game. Please only address this if you have time to spare.

I would generally agree with this... except I also found the "I wish I had a gun" post interesting. Not in a "this is sus and I have a gripe about it" way, but in a "hm I'm going to tuck that away for later" way.

I would agree with that, but I also don’t know that I really expect that from early game!PSV regardless? She’s misyeeted D1 not infrequently with similar reasoning.

By not infrequently, I mean I remember it happening at least once, but I think twice. Possibly more than that.

She’s a strong enough villager in later game and I’m not good at reading her in early game that it would take a pretty obvious slip for me to go there on D1.

I think they have low content , but mostly comes from a town pov? Like, I compare shelter to veggie and I think the direction of posts of sheltermed and stances of the game have more ¿Nuance? Or desire to solve? In it idk. Hard to explain but Im vibing

and I’m not good at reading her in early game

I’m not sure I actually misread her in early game all that often, now that I think about this, but I think it’s because I hedge and refuse to commit most of the time until later in the game. The one exception I can think of being CYO 3, where I blocced her correctly D1 and then we both got N1ed.

I think I was leaning the right way on her D1 in Literary, but then I let that go and slid her to neutrals for a while before revisiting it.

More or less, sure. I’m not sure I’d say “most” of the time, but it’s well within both of their ranges (town and mafia) to fart around for a while. Marmot’s meta is pretty diverse. The effortful Sloonei disciple of the finale is only one of their forms.

I’m null on them. There is a shelf life to it though. Eventually I’m gonna need stuff.

I will take pretty much any intra-SDN viewpoint seriously though. Y’all possess much background knowledge on each other that I do not.
