You say "usually", but I have never played a game where there is a distinction between "town" and "village". So where does this "usually" come from? Is there some hidden danger in saying that I am Town? Is the "Village" gonna kill me? I want all your information tbh

If it is indeed a factional game then yeah, knowing members of the other faction with (supposed) 100% certainty (assume they're not lying) does lend itself to being a target for elimination.

Like if its town vs Villa also, now if I see someone attacking Dya the thought of it being someone from town making fake reads to get them dead is also possible. Thats why if you want to catch scum the best approach is not outing the factions imo

See the problem is that you are making an argument that a "not member of the wolf team" would not write what I did. Which imo is bs. Like, I don't see how you make that connection unless you're already in that mindset. What you should have seen in my post is a mindset that is not playing with a worry of different factions. Like, my thought was "ohwee we are two non-mafia factions, cool! I am town tbh!" whereas you seem to expect that the reaction should be holding my cards close.

You also did not originally state this issue. You just said my reaction is fake. Fake = scummy. Fake =/= faction mindset.

Tldr: I think you're making things up on the go and are rephraming why you had a problem with my post. I don't think someone can with a straight face look at my post and think "this is fake because if he is actually town he'd be hyper aware that there are two warring non-mafia factions in the game and not out that info".
