I think so, but I dont remember much atm , I think Veggie style tends to sideline and needs poking to parse through their alignment. If not poking needed to do so, probably a good indicator

Question.

Wolves are going to be only people that requested that affiliation or didnt ask to be village? I thought that wasnt the case and wasnt trying to weight too much that in my reads

Likely depends on how many people asked to be scum. As others mentioned earlier, my CYOs typically have to be reranded because so many want to be scum that it's unbalanced.
 
I believe at least some wolves asked to be wolves, but not necessarily all. There’s no good way to know though. I believe it’s legitimate to explore this game through the lens that it wasn’t randed, but it’s also limited and risky. I won’t clear anyone just because I think they asked for town. I might halfway suspect someone if I think they asked for wolf (though I have little intuition about that anyway).

Now that dy posted, I remembered I had saved this quote to reply later woweee.

#1 Townread can be both of supershorty (Now my mason and feel all the trust) and JJJ .

#1 Scumread is samac *


Even if I have it as principal idk if that is the fist place I want to bark, and in general I think my scumreads are kinda lacking and just going to trust my PoE.

Cause there’s not a world where I ask to be a wolf and tbh if zenge made me a wolf against my will in a CYO adventure I’d be so bitter.

It’s also fun to me no matter my affiliation I usually get scum read if I’m on a trip. It’s not AI, I’ve been village, neutral, and wolf in these situations but it’s just a fun fact of life
 
Imo trying to solve based on “who asked to be a wolf” or who enjoys it is angle shooting, and Zenge said that it’s built in to punish that. Not going to put weight into those arguments personally.

I agree with this. Zenges prior games have been too well designed to make me believe that this game can be solved by simply figuring out who likes to wolf and who doesn't

Lack of death last night is interesting. Since Cyndia auto-died yesterday feels nice for village not to lose someone else
I don't feel samac is scummy

Also I believe that the game isn’t solvable that way, but the rules are literally copy/pasted from my own games where I do actively punish angleshooting. I am not certain that Zenge punishes as harshly as I do lol

No, not exactly, but I think the variants are similar enough to be lumped together. If I recall, you pointed out that trying this line of game-solving (trying to figure out alignment by who asked for alignment) is risky/gives limited information. (On mobile, search is derped, can look later).

I also said it’s legitimate. I probably won’t try it myself, but I’m not stopping others from speculating barring some egregious nonsense.

I don’t get the impression you’re suspecting me in good faith. You haven’t addressed the concern I raised earlier when you “agreed” with marmot that I am sus (when he called me null).

I mean, I've always felt this way, just felt the need to comment now because it seemed like people were actually heading in the direction of doing this. You also realize that 2/3 people you've mentioned (me and Mayo) have also mentioned as being fairly sus by several people. Welcome to the club, lol.

Nuance and direction of the reads is high level of town from Jay this game. As I catched up the thoughts of Jay were usually directions that I was going in my head , I am usually super pocketed by that and when I have the *vibe* unlikely to be wrong yesyes

Also I think there's a difference between using affiliation preferences to solve and taking note. I think we should take note but it isn't foolproof.

In fact I haven't heard anyone imply that it should be the only thing considered
