Are we getting them at 10:10?
Thank you for all the work you guys put into reading our applications and trying to get decisions back to us! We are just excited to learn if we can attend NCSU and we understand how much you put into this every year 😊View attachment 289930
We are experiencing formatting issues with our new system. It is our hope to correct it tomorrow morning.
I didn't get an email yet 😢Waitlisted!
My email said the list was unranked which doesn't make a ton of sense to me... how will they choose whom to contact first?Waitlisted. Does NCSU let us call to ask for our ranking?

If it’s anything like Western, then they evaluate waitlisted applicants against the spots they still need to fill. So depending on what they want their class to look like, that’s who gets picked. And I don’t mean physically, I mean background, academics, experience, etc.My email said the list was unranked which doesn't make a ton of sense to me... how will they choose whom to contact first?
Good point - I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the insight!If it’s anything like Western, then they evaluate waitlisted applicants against the spots they still need to fill. OOS rejection, but by far the most kind and thoughtful rejection yet
Do we know how many IS applications will be reviewed yet?
Yeah, I wasn’t sure if they had a total number after taking out any ineligible applications (missing pre-reqs, transcripts, etc.) but thanks!The last number they posted back in September was 1197 total, so there are at most 296 IS applications.

No, attendance at the Welcome Weekend doesn't impact an applicant's standing on the waitlist. You are encouraged to attend so that you gain a better understanding of our program. If admitted after April 15 (the decision deadline day for admitted applicants), an applicant will have 48 hours to accept or decline the offer.Hi everyone! Question: As a waitlisted OOS student, does the Welcome Weekend on January 18th and 19th affect your standing in waitlist? In other words, by attending the welcome event, can you boost your chances of getting off of the waitlist?
That is what I did through National Student Clearinghouse and had to enter that email. I got a notification today that it was received and downloaded. You probably also received a mass email around the end of December that had the fall transcript submission details.Does anyone know where we submit our fall transcripts? Should it be electronically sent to the student services office email address, [email protected] ?
The waiting...is the hardest part!Is NCSU saying it’s all a waiting game? Well we know that silly!
@NCSU CVM How's it going?? 😀
@NCSU CVM just wondering.... is it still a little too early for a hint? 😊
@NCSU CVM can we get a teeny tiny baby hint for when in Feb. the acceptances might go out?![]()
In 2017, acceptances went out on 1/24. The next year, they went out on 2/1... 8 days later. In 2019, 11 days later on 2/12. 11 is 1.375x 8. 1.375x 12 is 16.5. Rounded to a whole number, that's 17. Therefore, my guess is Monday 2/17.

We've narrowed it down to February.
