I have a pretty solid research background- both in undergrad and during my gap years.....still waiting on a decision

lol then i dont even know what to think at this point, maybe they put all the applications in a large pile and pick them randomly like from a hat, lol, because they are so unorganized and random lol

Looks like people with research got their acceptances lol. I have zero research background, but a decent amount of clincal hours, and a MD, and DO letter. I have managed to get 5 acceptances this cycle, but still waiting on NYIT, even though I interviwed here first. maybe they prefer candidates with more research?

I've had 4 years of research, which I assume is pretty solid and still haven't heard from them. Who knows what they're doing.

Heard back last week.

Yeah I'm not completely sure how they decide to make their decisions, all you can do is call them and ask for the status. They're very friendly over the phone, can't wait to start in August =]

Thanks, I have similar stats but interviewed later, so hopefully I hear back soon, as I will likely go here if accepted. Congrats on the acceptance.

It's the holidays so unfortunately it's the worst time to expect anything. I'm sure they'll be sending most of their decisions before the Christmas season. And seriously, just give them a call and ask for the status. Keep us updated!

Hi Sorry for a late reply!
But I have a lizym of 61 (very low MCAT very high GPA)
I have a lot of research and shadowing experience also have a letter from a DO
overall experience was alright..the interview actually didn't go so well. I had the german man who just asked a list of questions it was over within 10 minutes. He was really friendly but was taking notes the whole time. i liked the school, decent facilities, amazing staff, rotations, and match list. It's expensive but I think it's worth it!
I had a great group of people at my interview (9/15) I think we all clicked pretty well so it helped calm nerves! hope this helps

I called a while ago, they said all the decisions they're trying to send out all of the Sept to November interview decisions by the end of the year. So no matter what they decide I guess we should expect to hear back in the next month's time.

Well I called them back to back days for the hell of it. Both times I was told that a decision hasn't been made on my application and the process is still ongoing. So there's that. I'm not even sure I have the right to be frustrated considering there are people from September that are still waiting.

Nothing like a 4 month wait to raise your stress level to a point you didn't realize existed. I have a feeling I won't be hearing back from them until new years
