Okay a couple things from my role pm as I tried to stay away for 24 hours and failed

I am very very frustrated that I can't compile quotes while the thread is locked

Clem wagon time
Dubz drove that Clem train real hard. I wanted to go look at wolf dubz and is the last time she wolfed seriously literary? that was also a phasing wolf and had an election. I went all the way back to stardew and she wasnt pushing anyone toward any wagon, just trying to steer them away from her partner. Wasn't really pushing anyone directly.
Also looked at Marvel because I remember we wagoned together on mels. It was a last minute wagon and I think we both kind of campaigned for it and I like it. The energy here matches the energy from that.
I think the behavior we saw out of dubz is village dubz.
Also I may have found a dubz village tell but shhhhhhhhh don’t let her know

Thread entrance - saying matt's entrance was lulz followed by saying she doesn't get the reaction to matt's wording of village didn't like something.
first point where she calls it a misyeet. Had another post where she called him a misyeet and then the next post is saying she doesn't think he is village-y. I know we've beat this over the damn head but I still don't like it.
Don't like saying don't see wolves defending matt
"this is my playstyle"
I don't like this post and I think this is my biggest remaining problem. Instead of hunting for wolves spent all that time to gather her own posts and bold things. This feels more focused on saving your own ass than wolf hunting. They have 8 pages of posts in the noob game and I looked through the last 3 when she would have been in danger and didn't see this happen.

Overall I see very little wolf hunting out of them and wish I wouldn't have changed my vote.

I went back and looked at Fire Emblem and her fluff defenses, she is sort of hedgy on it with the assumption fluff could be a 3P faction if anyone wants to take a look
Zuri I didn't want my bias from the last game to influence me any but you are not helping 🫠 I also agree catching wolves should be the #1 priority.

I think fluff is less sus simply because I don't think a wolf would publicly say that their goal is to kill a whole faction lol

I agree fluff switching a vote to appease others is wolfy-ish and so they're on my radar. But I also think it'd be absolutely wild if they were a wolf and came in saying they are supposed to kill a specific faction in the game lol, so at this point I'm leaning towards fluff just not being confident in their yeets.

I will say this is by far the most wolfy thing to me that fluff has said. But that's such a giant slip as a wolf...

I'm also not super liking this response, I'd like some more clarification without mechanic explanations if it's possible, otherwise I'm not sure what was meant by knowing your allies.

Also (this is not meant to be retaliatory at all), but chic I'm also traumatized by you because I trusted you for so long so it's hard not to be sus of you 💀

get to say the theory, it allows some other villagers to think it over + it allows me to see who likes what/dislikes what/ignores what and make further guesses. There are very few cases where I keep something to my chest (i.e. I really think revealing it would hurt village/my faction/etc). It seemed to work decently in my first game so I'm keeping it. I'm not going to pretend that I don't think it'd be a decent strat if I ever played a wolf in a game and could pull it off. That's part of why I chose to play that way in my first game.

Also specifically regarding fluff, I don't like the fluff vote train for the reasons I've already mentioned. Fluff just seemed like a really easy scapegoat/huge train potential after some slightly sus comments from fluff, but the whole faction elimination admission got rid of all sus for me (for now). As I've said, I don't see a benefit in a wolf saying that. This means PSV is still the highest sus to me. Probably second highest is chic due to other comments that made me raise my eyebrows a little and a very similar playstyle to the last game (although I must admit

I am still most sus of the fluff train. This is all depending on the fact that fluff is actually an exclusionary faction and not a wolf. From the moment fluff mentioned wanting to eliminate a faction to win, before anyone really talked a ton about mechanics, I thought they were an exclusionary village and that it was genuine they thought that faction was wolf (and who knows, maybe the faction is). I don't know why a wolf would go out and say this, especially without knowing if it is a mechanic in the game. Yet, this statement did make fluff look bad, and I have not been a fan of some of fluff's further messages/defensiveness. This made them an easy misyeet target due to possible sus --> easy for wolves to bandwagon on.

I thought PSV was playing a little sus from the very beginning of the game (few and relatively neutral messages, although lots of people were somewhat inactive at the beginning so that's not much to go on), and the very strong focus on fluff by PSV only furthered my suspicions. PSV was also the second vote on fluff, not the first, which was perhaps trying to continue a bandwagon that already began.

I also generally agree with this and ignored mechanics discussions for this exact reason, except I didn't like that they said it doesn't really matter what the wolf faction is called. That's the one thing I did want to theorize a bit on, as it would provide insight to future yeet reveals/PM messages if people are not directly called a wolf when they are yeeted/investigated/etc. I will say also, I think people who did participate in mechanics theories are more likely to be village because I think it's less likely a wolf would try to theorize something that was possibly incorrect, and additionally, looked down upon by others.

I also don't really like this train of logic. I get it would clear Zenge, a sketchy person, but like, why is that the primary method you would use to clear someone? Also, if fluff isn't a hit, then what. Idk maybe it is a common strat, but I don't see myself doing it. PSV also hasn't gotten a ton of defense (or sus besides from people I feel best about) this game from other players, which is maybe a sign to me that people want to quietly move the vote to someone else, and if PSV does flip wolf, they don't look sus for defending them. As village, I like to defend people I think are more likely to be village, whether they actually are or not, but I haven't really seen that happen for PSV. I know none of this is concrete, but I feel better about it than anyone else at the moment.

Others on the fluff train were Zenge, April, chic, and miranda. April and chic were involved in mechanics discussions in some way or another so I feel less sus of them than the others on this train. Viscernable was also pretty sus of April, and now Vis is dead. Would April kill Vis for that? Mm I feel if April was a wolf, it's more likely they'd try to ignore Vis since April only had one vote, rather than bring attention to themselves. That leaves Zenge and miranda who I don't feel great about. Miranda more than Zenge.

I also thought zuri was more village pretty early on due to what I interpreted as a different playstyle than the noob game (explained in an earlier post) and heavy mechanics talk. However, I can also see where the sus on zuri came from (bringing up topics multiple times/defensiveness), so I feel like maybe there were more village there.

I also kinda get the genny train due to the focus on factions by genny, but I'm still more inclined to think those who agreed with that are exclusionary factions. I feel like wolves would not say anything since they were mentioned in the intro as existing.

In general, I feel best about DubZ, AM, & Santy (please do not mention rule of threes, I like threes in any situation). I'm also feeling pretty good about the contributions of subbed-in players (samac, mayo, and yourself) + wiisp. Slightly sus of Plum. SOV, clem, SAR, alley, veggie, Nate, and moth are relatively neutral/could be wolfy to me right now. Did I miss anyone?

This took like an hour to type up so I'm not accounting for new messages lol. Side note: my lack of activity today is because I was packing all morning and then drove for 3 hours straight back to campus. I was able to read/like some messages in the morning/early afternoon but didn't have time to reply.

I thought Clem was most likely. And yeah, I don't feel like re-hashing the whole Matt thing again. I also had to defend myself at that point because I was leading (or tied?) in votes, whichever, I don't really remember. Also, there was a reason I did not defend myself hard when I was about to be voted out in the noob game. My ability was to literally kill someone when I was voted out. I kinda wanted to be voted out the entire game so I could do it.

That is a fair point on the noob game and not defending yourself, you were looking forward to the yeet I guess.

Why did you decide to immediately reveal a block/jail mechanism at this point? What do you think the there is to gain from that?

yes i agree.
Why are y'all trying to get me kilt

Why did you feel the need to make this clarification?
Interesting, I totally would have revealed 🤔
I feel like the thinking emoji can be taken as questioning your actions from a "would a villager do that" perspective, which did not really align with the purpose of my answer or my line of questioning. I was curious what the meta was since I kept revealing actions in the noob game

It's just how it went my noob game, everyone always claimed when they got roleblocked or jailed. I felt like it was a good system to tell who was truthful or not and to keep track of roleblocks/deaths/non-deaths, as the jailor or roleblock-er could die before revealing everyone. With my current experience, I don't really see the harm in it, wolves don't know who it is, and maybe it's a wolf ability.

I used to think like that, but if it was a villager you just revealed a blocker exists. So if you’re not a wolf you just gave the wolves that information.

Mindmeld or whatever the popular term is

Who are you villa reading ?
That is a great question that I am not entirely sure of because I don't trust any of my reads. But Tbh that whole veggie thing I explained about how I never would have thought of using the reasoning "wolves know all the villagers" has me basically ignoring everything veggie has done otherwise because I put them firmly in village land then. Obvi strong evidence would change that, but haven't seen strong evidence against veggie

What happened to your village read on samac?

idk, I feel like the last minute vote swapping through me off a bit. I woulda been leaning more villager if samac voted me, although I would likely be gone in that scenario sooo...

I still have no reason to not put Dina as villager other than that I don't trust my own reads 🤔

From a village!Matt perspective, why would her swapping from you to a different villager bother you?

I skimmed EoD before going to sleep so post from that time dont have a big part on my memory tbh.

I want to see more from @mightyrunner7 and @Viscernable today.

I did the sudden switcheroo on voting to a more 'vis appealing one' to see how they would react too and weh, the surprise or whatever you wanna call it on the sudden ally on Vis part felt kinda weird. Idk maybe Im having too much expectations there that arent being fulfilled hm.

Mighty has the feeling on their posts that are going like its a procedure. I want to see the BELIEF in the reads. That + I still see the interaction with Dina as kindof stiff for two people that know each other, so that makes me think its probably not v/v . I could be making this read up my ass but Imma believe it for now.

If I wouldn't had forgotten yesterday, I wpuld've voted matt I think. Even tho I feel like rescinding on my early villa read on Wonda, I dont see them as that wolfy. And the self defense posts just felt highly uncoached and sorta genuine? So thats on my mind regarding wonda ig. I liked their initial posts at SoD , then they put matt in a weird NAI spot while also sussing the people voting matt and I think that the logic there was undeveloped/iffy so thats why I rescinded the villaread.

Also I should be sleeping rn but decided to just brainspew where my head is atm so thats fun.

Also, I'm still holding the dumb V!genny read and matt voting genny for kinda a similar reason that could apply to Clem yesterday just makes me go woweee
