Of the last game, no slithers voted for zuri D1 despite there being 6 votes. In fact, all the slithers either voted for genny or fluff. It's not the same exact analogy, but like wolves do group up sometimes & avoid doing things they think may make them look sus. Which in this case, I feel like defending matt would make them look sus due to the overwhelming feeling of the thread, whether matt is village or wolf.

Does your analysis change assuming matt is village or wolf?
 
I'm stuck whether I want to vote matt/sporty or wonda. Originally I was going to vote matt this cycle, but I have mixed feelings about voting a recent sub in

And I'm not feeling any differently about wonda and her logic after her posts this cycle, but not sure how I feel voting with veggie who is in my POE right now

For now I think I'm going to

@mightyrunner7 why do you think there has to be a wolf on clem when there were multiple other wagons? You said the other counter wagons should be considered, but you didn't really follow up on that

Sorry, work kinda killed all my energy today.

Wanted to make a post today in the morning but I woke up late and the hell followed shortly hmmyes.


@mightyrunner7 can you give me your thoughts on matt/sporty and wonda? I could go on the theory that is on my mind regarding wagonomics and votes and why you ignoring/dismissing two crucial slots on it to then make an analysis on a vaccuum is worrying.
But the principal feeling I have is that you are having a narrow view on it, and maybe it feels like you decided the topic to talk about and tried to get reads out of it, rather than there being genuine reads of you with thoughts you are havin
Hard to explain rn.

But a thought that crossed me is that talking about the Clem wagon was an analysis you tackled just to try to avoid wonda/matt topics so I'm hmming in my mind
 
I dont know if I'll be here for yeet close, and I'm not a fan of giving more time to a slot tha we were kinda wanting to yeet since D1 so /shrug.
And Sporty had a full day, and its okay if they didn feel like posting or didnt had the time. Bur that doesnt make them villagey

Is that there were three wagons yesterday. Wondalfy, Matt and Clem .

Mighty chose to analyse Clem, and then dismissed entirely any thoughts on Wonda and Matt votes , and how their wagons could influence that. It feels super vaccuum-y and I wonder if the thought process of analysis there is genuine. Because I think questioning there a little bit more is kinda a given?

Or at least their headspace when doing analysis was purposufely dismissive of threadstate ¿? I don't know how to word it well but yeh.

I think he said before that he focused on Clem because he's the one who flipped, but I guess that explanation didn't satisfy your concern? I can see why it wouldn't, just wanted more clarity on your thoughts there.

I'm here and finished catching up on thread. I owe a few responses but wanted to put some thoughts down here first.

Yes, I did choose a narrow topic for a deep dive. Although it didn't recieve as much traction as I hoped, it did generate Genny's strong assertion that they followed Dubz because Dubz is Village, and I think causing that assertive statement was valuable.

I agree with a few of the concerns with the analysis, and will provide more follow up, but fundamentally, narrow points are just that. A conclusion around a framework. Maybe as I develop with WW I'll feel more comfortable with claims like "X is leaning sus because my gut says so", but I'm not there yet

But don't you think the wagon composition and votes are super different wether the counterwagons were village or wolf? Like, I think thats a huge point in the analysis that I think its missing in the headspace .

Totally agree, just wanted to make sure we were thinking along the same lines! Less valuable to look at one wagon in isolation without thinking about how your analysis might change depending on whether you think there was a wolf on the board or it was all village wagons.

No. Reread my posts. I said that pressuring a slot like that was worthless.

If day would've ended yesterday, I would've voted you. So in a sense I gave you room to do your own thing, but then I got back.

I even said it in thread with the veiled threat to mkg post about returning to voting you wowee

Two reasons:

1. Threadstate. Most of the thread has been focused on Matt (sporty) vs. Wonda. I didn't find much I could contribute that hadn't already been said

2. Self-preservation is an important factor. Matt (sporty) was an AM, but moved to Clem in order to jump on a wagon. I had theorized previously that he (she) would do that, since in that position it would be difficult to jump on your protector (wonda). Similarly, wonda was the defender of Matt (Sporty), so a vote on Matt would be odd. This is certainly not the deciding factor, but when dealing with Noobs, you can't ignore the "I want to not die so here is my vote" appeal.

No change to Dubz, but it does grant genny a few more sus points. Blind obedience does not make you a good villager, and it's to prevent wolfy-actions if you can just ditto someone else

For 1. I think your opinion always is important and will have a sort of uniqueness tbh. Even if its a mix of things already said by other people.
So like, there isnt a need to say things that are new, focus on sharing your perspective and what feel with more weight on your mind.

2. Self-pres is NAI. Is the correct move regardless of aff. And doing things like voting your defender, or voting for someone you've been defending (tho wonda says they arent defending them for example, so thats stuff you should talk about! ) Are valid.

And like, do you think the votes on the Clem wagon are damning if both Matt and Wondalfy are village? In that scenario the wolves had like 3 wagons to choose from, and had no one really in danger, so they didnt care much, right.
Clem wagon votes I think could be more sus if one in Wonda/Matt is actually a wolf, because then there would be more motivation to vote Clem . Those type of stuff feels a little like too 'Elephant in the room' to me, and missing them while doing an analysis and being okay with giving the less importance in an analysis in two of the key slots to analyze is what weirded me . (Weirds ig is a nice way to say its the reason on why I think your analysis comes off more as wolfy agenda to me ehe)
