But a bias isn’t a reasoning to be suspicious of someone. It’s an underlying factor making you suspicious of someone. “I’m suspicious of x because I’m biased to be suspicious of them” doesn’t make sense. “I’m suspicious of x because of y, but also I’m biased to be suspicious of them so take that with a grain of salt”, or “I was suspicious of x, but in hindsight my reasoning was bogus and it’s just because of my bias but I didn’t realize it at the time”, or “I’m biased to be suspicious of x so I’m making a note to only wolfread them if I have really good reason to” all make sense, but that does not. What was your reasoning, not the underlying cause?

I see what you are saying, so I'll try to elaborate.
There were on my sus list originally because they haven't been as involved in the game. As far as me throwing down a vote today, I guess I was trying to have a stance and pick someone from my list.
Guilty of speaking before thinking and then later putting my foot in my mouth.

In that case I agree, same feeling. And I try not to be swayed too much by genuine displays of emotion because wolves can get frustrated too, but Dina’s explanation of being frustrated that certain players weren’t finding her as village did seem like genuine village frustration

So after re-reading genny, I can attribute my sus against them to two factors:

1. A few awkward back/forths we had Day 1
2. My half-baked analysis that a wolf had to be part of the misyeet of Clem

Thinking on it now, I can't really say that either warrants putting them on top of my sus list, especially with that interesting sporty theory. I will point out that they have been sussing sporty from the start, so I'll be very interested in hearing new reads once sporty is gone..

okay I feel like counterarguing a bit

ok so i reread D1.

i feel like veggie + matt got into a lil trouble at the start with the self-vote and 3P thing, so i imagine them in wolf chat together thinking that they're both going down. so they decide that veggie has to bus matt/sporty to survive. seems to be going OK. matt has 4 votes, veggie has 2, lots of people haven't voted yet, but they seem to be doing some good distancing. and then things start to cool off a little for matt/sporty, the village starts bringing up other names. so maybe matt wouldn't be in danger if veggie wasn't voting there.

idk if veggie was white knighting miranda or what. but she walks back the wolf read a lil on matt/sporty and starts with the sus on wonda.

and then this is when veggie finally does switch off matt/sporty, and it's just about the hedgiest thing i've ever read. if matt's village, why switch at all?

while I understand this theory, I think the amount of sus by veggie is a little much for matt/sporty to also be a wolf. I wouldn't personally expect a wolf noob to bus another wolf noob so quickly. there was plenty of time left and votes left in the day. I also find it weird for a wolf to call another wolf possibly 3P so randomly instead of throwing normal sus

Matt's self yeet to unyeet was interesting. The most of the village phrase makes me curious how he knows that. Maybe he's 3p?

Most makes me think he has incomplete info on who is village. Don't the wolves know all of village?

Partly because he said that with only like 4-6 reactions at the time. It felt premature to say something like that with any confidence.

Not extensive and all irl. So I'm still learning forum and all-written play.

It really was the first thing that came to mind for sure a quick selfvote/unvote. It doesn't seem like a thing a wolf would do to put a target on their back so quickly. Also seems like a weird village thing to do for similar reasons, and as an entrance no less. 3P may feel more free to do something like that though.

I feel a little bad piling on Wonda but they are pinging on the sketchy meter. I don't think they're in a pack with Matt rn, but I won't close that door. I do think Wonda is a good player though.

I’ve been busy all day, I did not do any additional looking.

And my Dina vote is almost strictly POE with a tiny bit of VCA. I am not good at tone reading her so I’d probably never catch her as a wolf without those two things
