I like the PIL program at Drexel along with the Philly location and hospitals it is connected to but im a NJ resident and its cheaper to go to RWJMS, what are your opinions on each school?

I tried painstakingly to find tuition rates on RWJ's website but the best I could find is this nj.com article from which you might deduce that RWJ's tuition is 30k. Drexel's is 45k, making it a difference of 15k a year. Just to attempt to quantify the tuition difference.

did you already get accepted to RWJMS ?

Drexel isn't exactly in Philly, but I do like their cozy campus much more than RWJMS's. I also think they have better facilities and (like you said) better curricular options.

On the other hand, RWJMS is more prestigious imo because of the RWJ Foundation and will cost you less since you're IS.

Have you looked at the match lists? This may help you choose when it comes time to depending on what you hope to go into post med school.

Thanks for your input, I fully agree with all of this. I looked at the match lists and considering rwjms is half the size of Drexel it looks like it might have a better list but I'm not positive

OP: don't make these threads if you haven' been accepted to the schools. Or at least state at the beginning that you haven't been accepted, so those of us who know better won't waste our time on a hypothetical that will most likely never come into fruition

US News usually mentions tuition so you can look there for tuition costs if it would make it onto the top 100 list and if you have trouble finding it on the school's website. I remember it saying 30k as well for IS at RWJ. 🙂
