Vote analysis and their comments after write up. Both struck me as enough to start my vote there for today.

I don't like their vote at all. That was the worst wagon and they were comfortably in it after following some joke votes.

And these comments:

It seems like “Village Emoji Giver” is a common role that keeps showing up for the dead, may they Rest In Peace.

Did anyone GET an emoji last night that they’re willing to talk about?

Yeah. We should be careful not to over analyze, but it might be good information to have.

Struck me as either wolf PR hunting or more likely noob wolf surprised that all of the villagers have the same role.

What do you mean by "where have I been"? I have to completely close SDN when I'm playing WW because I can't get any studying done if I have it up in the background. And yesterday night I was graciously offered last minute to go in and 'help' with a PU sx on a cat, so that's why I wasn't on until after yeet close, and tonight I had to go back to the hospital so my dogs could get vaccinated.

D2 interlude

Suddenly in the midst of busy discussion, a shot rang out and someone suddenly dropped dead. Lawpy and SDN emoji community were left completely stunned.

Dead is @Animal Midwife who was 🥛, a Village Vigilante who may kill one player each night.

It's still D2. Yeet close is tomorrow 1/31/2021 at 10 PM EST/9 PM CST/8 PM MST/7 PM PST

This was my kneejerk thought at seeing the write-up. I thought sunshine was a strange kill choice too. My first thought was sunshine and Lainey gave the same person emojis that triggered the kills, but seems a little crazy for any game especially one that's supposed to be basic 🤔

Anything in particular? This morning I was moving barks into slightly wolfy, but I've been agreeing with her thoughts she posted today and I agree with her thoughts on bread. I was considering going there as well today. I haven't ISO'd them yet, but something that stuck out to me was how active they were at the very beginning of the game with all the off-topic conversations and now that the game has picked up they've sort of faded into the background.

Please has been sounding slightly village to me, and I'm going back and forth on enigma. I think there was likely one wolf at on the prints or shorty wagons last night so if I'm using that logic it has to be one of them and/or zenge. I'm also leaning slightly wolfy on kras.

Alley and april I'm not sure about so they're neutral for now.

I think Bread is my strongest wolf read right now though so

yeet bread

I sometime have a hard time reading Barks, what about her/ what she's said has put her into your slight wolf pile?

what the hell?

Rough. How the heck did AM have the luck of getting vig?

And iirc, there was at least one game where the someone with limited village killing power could only kill at night, it didn't happen immediately during the day. But AM made that comment about the vig kill being immediate. Would AM have timed her shot to look like a NK to sidestep vig speculation? Don't think so, but it would be nice to know why so many died last night.

Wonder who did this kill and why now. Village or wolf? I could see it coming from either side tbh.

A lot of village killing power.

I'm trying to remember what other games we had where villagers had a lot of kill power. Didn't go very well iirc.

If you are out there and you are village with kill power, please consider holstering unless you're really super super sure someone is wolf (like last game Sporty's second shot on bulletproof wolf sure.) Like you have some actual evidence from PR mod results or something damning.

She was in my slight wolf pile this morning just because she hadn't posted a ton of reads like I usually expect of her but I'm happy with what I saw her post today.

What's your point? I'm not sure how this makes me wolfy and you've played games with me before and should know it's NAI.

Mayo comes to mind... which I hate to say because Mayo is my top village read. I'm not sure what affiliation that shot came from but I would be amazed if there was more than two vig villagers

yeah he did post immediately before lawpy made the announcement so definitely a possibility

4 NKs last night and one was probably from a wolf pack and another from AM. We know genny was a day vig and was killed last night so it's near impossible she was responsible for one of those kills. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a 3p around too with kill powers. It would make sense if lawpy made this game tbh

Why are you wolf-reading bread for doing the same thing you are? why vote there as opposed to anyone else?

I'm not wolf-reading bread because he's a low poster I'm wolf-reading him partially for his dramatic change in posting tempo from the beginning of D1 to now.

Also his erratic voting patterns yesterday. Including jumping on and off the shorty wagon and just placing a vote on himself.

Well I came back to finish catching up but there's like 18 more pages to read now and apparently AM is dead so I can't even come up with amazing reads that would make her happy

Also dang so I guess it's not really a strictly basics game then. At least the way I interpret basics  Carrying on with no further assumptions

it is/was semi-serious, again sorry about unclear language. prints was/is my strongest wolf lean, so I put my vote there acknowledging that I may be asleep when the yeet happens
but i didn't want to like waste my vote I did want it to reflect my current reads
if that makes sense

just to make sure you see the accurate explanation (above)

Felt that you were trying to over explain your vote for prints with lack of evidence and guiding zenge to joint you on the vote.

Posted less when I was busier at work. And was just getting enough time keep up with reading with little time to digest

And so did you 🤔

I find it weird how you and mayo have been liking each other's posts and jumping to each other's defenses. It's like you know each other's affiliation or something

Mayo and I are IRL friends. It's NAI, just like AM and genny liking each other's posts
And it would be super dumb!wolf to shoot AM in the middle of arguing with her. What an excellent way to draw attention to myself 🙄

this is another one that makes me icky about TE. i feel like it has a similar flavor to "idk anyone so i cant read them", in the special addition "the only thing i'm willing to stand solidly on is that villagers are probably not gonna be going for me", despite the odds simply being villagers will yeet villagers.
could be nonwolfhunting as a wolf
could be still trying to get her footing
but at this point, i'm inclined to go with the former
Not necessarily defending Enigma, but former experience with players makes people more confident with their reads. Like how I am somehow playing to my wolf meta when I only played a wolf once and played similarly last game when a villager.

I started thinking more about this and I remember bread not being as active in apoc. as I saw in noob, and then bread flipped wolf at the end of apoc.
which makes me give wolf points to bread, bc i feel like he's behaving more similarly to apocalypse

I was able to be more active during the noob game because production was slow and most of my post were fluff posts with me goofing off.
vetschoolsletmeinplease said:
I also don't understand the suspicion that I'm wolfy. it seems barks' only logic was bad word choice while I admitted to being not at 100% mental capacity, and then your logic is that I'm finding (what I feel like) are valid points for being sus of you?
Like I said in the beginning words betray, but will add that words betray no matter your affiliation. Feel like claiming to not be at 100% may be true but also a convenient excuse.

a couple of people have read this as overexplainy and it frustrates me because at the same time it didn't seem like i gave enough explanation for the same thing.
as far as guiding zenge to join me on the vote, that wasn't my intention, i was making sure zenge saw my explanation for my pawprints vote since he was replying to barks' commen. I read zenge's post as potentially joining barks on the vote for me, not potentially joining me on the vote for prints

Yeah and it would've been dumb for me to shoot AM since she was village reading me, but I thought we were just calling each other out for posting around the time it happened

...I kinda killed Mayo in the apocalypse and people felt more confident that I was villager for a couple days. Just saying that because on one side it is not a big brain move and the other side it was a mega brain move.

Still way back on page 10 (and not going to finish this catch up tonight - but will continue on in the morning) but I think I'm actually sliding Enigma less wolfy for this post after I picked out a shorty post to question. Doesn't really feel like something a young wolf would do - defending a villager - when she hadn't been involved in the conversation (which was basically me talking to myself) at all at that point
TelemarketingEnigma said:
I don't really see what was wolfy about it, but i can't remember the context off hand. I feel the same way about D1 being hard from the one noob game I've played, though this 36/12 cycle (with more experienced players) really does give a lot more to work with now that I've seen it play out. 12/12 noob game I knew NOTHING D1 and things were mostly a shot in the dark

This is kind of what I was thinking about it too. I was already sus of Dina a bit and this is setting off alarm bells for me.

You might be thinking of apocalypse, but some of that "village" killpower was actually 3p killpower

Some random thoughts to throw out there.

Wolf leans:
Dina - Need to do an iso, but I had a note of him wolfy yesterday before the vote. The shorty vote didn't help. I don't think he killed AM fwiw.
Alley - Stayed on a grudge vote last night. Safely out of notice.
Zenge - for reasons stated

N/W aka There's a wolf in this pile but probably only one:

Please/Breads/TE - TE and Please aren't w/w

Neutral:
kras - same as bread, but with a pigeon
SAR - silent early, coming out stronger wolf hunting today which I like.

N/V:
Barks: I don't like her vote yesterday, but is wolf-hunting how I would suspect

Village Leans:
WZ & Cray both seem to be wolf hunting and similar to previous village plays. If I'm wrong then I'm sure their pockets are warm.

April has played a bit better each game and feels she is village again on that same curve. Her read list today was very similar to what I would point out.

Pack dynamics:
Agree Please and TE can't be w/w - Leaning TE
Kras and Dina aren't w/w - Leaning Dina
