Eh, I still don't think cubs is wolfing. He's reactive like that always but even moreso when village.
from an outsider perspective (never seeing him play before)- even if that is his usual, what better way to play it up than when he claims he's trying a new village tactic? Makes sense as a power!wolf to play up village behaviors when claiming to be power!village

Dana and Cubs aren't sure of how to read me and I don't like the wagon on kds. If they want to yeet a wolf read I'd rather get yeeted and hang out in dead chat than someone who is also new and is only on their second game. At least let them get to d2
Why not try to redirect them to yeet someone other than yourself though?

Because that's not my personality :sorry: Maybe if it was D3 and there's someone I really wanted to yeet. But my vote is on Barks and I'm not getting slapped in the face by vibes there so I'd feel crappy for pushing a villager out. Nope, only person I'd feel good about is me lol

i just really dont understand whats productive about this from a village perspective- if you're a villager, wouldn't causing a misyeet of yourself just hurt our numbers? give the wolves a chance to knock out at least two villagers in one day/night cycle?

In a world where you are village, that just gives wolves a free for all (regardless of kdsw's affiliation) thus increasing the chance of a village loss.

Unless village losing is something that's appealing to you, I strongly recommend pushing your wolf reads instead of offering yourself.

Am I understanding correctly that you're not wolf reading Barks?

I am wolf reading Barks, with low certainty

to be fair, she did this twice (or was it once?) in the noob game so I buy that this is just her instinct

if im remembering correctly, she self-yeeted in the noob game when she was getting some heat out of frustration. i dont remember any instance where she decided to sacrifice herself like this- could be wrong, but just feels kinda weird to me

most of my village read on the two of them is based on their early interactions. a lot of my notes from the first few pages, like samac openly wishing that the two of them were wolfing together, kinda just seemed too bold for me to think w/w. on top of that, samac has a different tone than i saw when totting bowling. i know that's not very descriptive, but honestly im not afraid to just say its vibes for day 1 for me. and cubs has pointed out some things that i agree with, like bluestoat's tone being different this game. i also feel like he is being so active and spewing out so many village reads that it really does just come across like someone who is trying to powervillage for the first time and is a little off the wall. i will consider the points you've brought up though. like i said earlier, im not confident about genny, bob and sporty. i dont like how bob has made posts quoting other people's comments and adding some joke-y input, but no real reads or strategy. sporty i dont really have much to go off of at all. i dont like the genny/AM convo that's happening; genny's argument wouldn't make sense if she wasn't village reading dubz like AM pointed out.
SAMAC DID NOT WISH WE WERE WOLFING TOGETHER
THAT WAS CUBS
SAMAC NEVER WISHES SHE WAS WOLFING

Part of me wishes we were wolfing together because this would be the stupidest w/w on thread interactions ever lol.

Nah, he won’t.
WHAT WAS I ON WHEN I SAID THIS

Why you have that so ready @Dana_May_B? That was a fast ass quote response.

It makes sense if you consider driving motivators. Mine isn't to win if it's a game, it's to have fun and for others to get to have fun too. Someone getting heat cause of jokes fits into such a morality as against the moral paradigm. I just care more about having fun. If it's real life, I'd be much more driven to win, and then more inclined to not even interfere besides double checking the logic of those involved and the information the decision is based on.
Are you looking at anyone else alongside her?

Looking into others can increase your confidence on reads.
Yes, in a fashion... Let me get back to this. I am focusing on villager reads right now because wolves aren't falling out of the woodwork for me, so it is this way that I'm looking for wolves right now.

I guess, but from the perspective of someone who hasn't played with him, his reads and reactions have felt strange enough that I don't think I'm going to move my vote tonight.

Fair, I’m usually better at picking up villagers than wolves, but we have to vote so working I. Those wolf reads is better too.

It is worse for the game as a whole though to push a self yeet as a villager than finding someone else you find suspicious and putting focus there.

Unyeet Miya
yeet bluestoat
this is the other moment I was thinking of, she voted herself out of frustration (I think?) after being flustered by miya's fake role reveal. Granted, she tried to vote miya again after, and miya was already the clear leader so it had no impact. So I guess we haven't seen this self-sacrifice before, but I can kinda buy that her default frustration response is self sacrifice

here before shorty yells at you for wanting to self yeet again lol

And thank you, but I can take the heat
Being aggressive yet self-destructive is a core part of her personality.

Did you have the post number written down?
no i did not, am i supposed to pay attention to the post numbers? i wouldn't know how to get back to a specific post number anyways

Why not try to redirect them to yeet someone other than yourself though?
Because her first reaction when someone is under fire is to throw herself in front of the bullets. It's not a fully logical thing, it's just how she responds when she sees people under duress.

No, you just said you knew right where to look and it even took me a minute to find the post on the page it was on, it was just surprisingly fast.
Making sure you weren’t in wolf chat or something where the quote was recent and copy and pasted it. 😉

That's extremely dangerous in a situation where powerwolves exist.

god with my luck if i was going between a wolf chat and here that fast, i would have just rojo'd 🤣 nah i just searched "wolfing together" by samac in this thread and it was right there

I need to get more efficient

I'm kind of getting a wolfy sense from genny. Is that crazy? Then again all of the vets are giving me vague wolf vibes so maybe I'm just not very good at this game. My strongest feeling right now is probably bluestoat for an unknown reason. I'm finding it interesting that she's trying to sacrifice herself to save kdswg when I don't recall a same move being made to save anyone in BoWWling.
Yeet bluestoat

I'm really having a hard time following your logic here.

I think genny is wolfy.

So you're wolf reading stoat?

I’ve went back through the first few pages of multiple games
One liners not necessarily wolfy.
Big explanations of why the salt yeet wolfy.
To be fair, I prompted kdawg for the big explanation. I just didn’t like it because it didn’t make sense to me.

I’m still not sure on you kdawg
*squinty eyes*

Elaborate

@potentialsheltervet Also I'm not trying to "save" anyone. Kds isn't wolfy to me and if anything, I'm trying to save the sanctity of a playfulness from one noob to another from getting backlash. If kds was being a total grouch and not a village read I'd be like "eh yeah whatever"

I probably should've put a break between the Genny thing and my vote to indicate they're separate thoughts.
Even just the Stoaty logic is hard to follow. Mostly just a vibes thing, or is there anything specific?

For what it's worth, I can't imagine her being as willing to take the bullet for someone else if she got the chance to be a wolf.

Your defense of kdswg is already strange behavior for a villager, and I'm not seeing a pattern with your play in bowwling. You're the wolfiest to me at this time.
You are welcome to your interpretation! Even if they are wrong, your reads are your reads

I'm not really wolf-reading kdswg, but the general response would be for you to defend kdswg with your opinions and then focus on someone wolfier rather than saying "so yeet me instead." I know you and true said that's how you are and that may be so, but in the context of this game I don't like it and I find it suspect.
