Everyone thinks you are a wolf though. The wolves are using that to their advantage. Why kill me when eventually the villagers will lynch you themselves and I will be dead at their hands?

I am their pawn and I am quite annoyed of it. Honestly been hoping they would kill me the last few nights. Lynching works too. Either way, I will be out of the situation.

Do you know exactly what the link is?
Because I am starting to think maybe MJ is BSing us.
I mean be able to avoid a lynch and a wolf attack by having someone die in your place is a little unbalanced, and made him such an easy and necessary conversion.

Is it possible he only is protected from attack by a wolves, but not by lynch. I mean think of the book, a confessor can be killed by a group of people (a lynch), but just not an individual (a wolf attack). That makes more sense to me.

And if he that is true and he was just bluffing before, no reason for him to stop after a conversion.
I really want to lynch MJ (next?), and maybe I am just talking myself into it, but we can't really afford to lose you (assuming you are still a villager).
 
I'm down for an MJ lynch...

sorry DVMD, but if he is the wolf we need to kill, there is no other way. And maybe he is full of it.

Still a villager. I have just lost my give a damn. Sorry, lots of personal crap going on that is playing into this.

I have no idea what MJ's power is, but a few cycles ago when I did start to lynch him, Escalla warned me that I was still under his control even with that metal collar on him.

If the wolves had converted me and you were a villager, they already would have won. I can confess twice during the game, I'd have just had the wolves kill you and picked a new villager target as a new meat shield.

So listen to me for a second: there's probably 3 wolves left, so if you honestly believe DVMD to be a villager, lynching me will cause her to die, the wolves will get a nightkill, and then we will lose the game because there'll be 3 villagers and 3 wolves left (unless you successfully block a night kill). So even if I were a wolf, it would be impossible for the villagers to win by lynching me at this point unless BOTH DVMD and myself were wolves. Even if they do not pull off the nightkill due to a lucky block, I would still be unlynchable because I'd have picked a new villager- basically making it impossible to win, since Rojo would be invincible till the last wolf died and you'd have to kill another villager to get at me if I were the last wolf.

So just hear me out on this- I'm a villager, because mathematically, if I were not, the only reason this game would still be going is either DVMD and I are both wolves, or Escalla is cool with watching you guys flail and flounder despite the fact that it's impossible for you to win since you'd have to gut two villagers to get to me.

So? So do other's. I don't find SOV's ability to necessarily be super villager friendly. He sends messages, many times wolves can do that.

You can find magical people, which has been of no benefit thus far.

The point here is that if you lynch MJ today, you still won't be lynching a wolf. You will be lynching me. You will then still be stuck back at this same point tomorrow having to decide who to lynch, that is, if you have not already lost the game for lynching yet another villager.

Just a stylistic thing... if there is even a theoretical way for the villagers to win (ie, blocking a kill), the game must go on!

So by your own logic, you have already made a case for how the game can go on.

The only way for them to win if I were a wolf and DVMD were a villager would be to kill the other wolf (5V, 2W), block, lynch me (4V, 2W), block, lynch me again (3V, 2W), block again, and then lynch me a third time. It's possible but absurd. If they tried killing me first, it'd go (4v, 3W), block, and then they'd still have to kill the other wolf, since killing me would kill a second villager and bring it down to (3V, 3W).

Anyway, I'm not a wolf, because if I were, I'd probably be taunting you with odds like that. They're absurdly bad and I wouldn't be able to help myself.

too confusing to read.

to summarize: we need to kill the other wolf first. We can deal with the MJ problem tomorrow.

And I don't want to argue, but MJ seriously overstates the odds and keeps on trying to hard sell the he is unlynchable line.
 
About the odds he is stating, he could be throwing complete bogus with those. I have no idea. I have no clue how many wolves are left so I can't make any statement as to the odds.

That would only work if there were only 3 wolves in this game. That seems highly unlikely in a game this large. Not impossible, but i don't think we have ever seen such a small ratio (except maybe in survive alive where the wolves were super-powered).
I would think it is better used collaring another player (not WTF) and stopping any other wolvish mischief.

I agree with this. Which is part of why my gut is saying FFM is wolfy.
 
BTW, how the feck did you guys let epivet live so long. Escalla's exact words: "that character is so obscure, even I had to look her up"

Satisfied with is reading for the night, FS closes the book. The Keep was eerily deserted tonight and he wasn't sure why. Shouldn't there be more people here trying to see if there's anything that can be done to help fight the Order? He might have been born without the gift, but he wanted to do what he could. Sighing to himself, he slowly places the book on top of a pile he has read already. Many more to go tomorrow, he thinks to himself.

FS grabs his cloak and ties it around his neck, stepping out into the crisp night air. As he makes his way through the city, he notices that there's little activity anywhere tonight. Window shutters are pulled closed, no pedestrians on the streets. The only light to guide him is the light of the moon. A soft breeze whistles through the buildings blowing leaves across his path. Shivering, he pulls his cloak tighter around his body and quickens his step.

Reaching his home, he pulls the keys from his inside pocket. As he holds them out to unlock the door, he freezes. He starts to scream. Horrible, chilling screams that seem to go on forever. Unable to move, unable to draw a breath. Without notice, he drops to the ground. Terrified from the sounds, no one even opened a window to check on him.

Dead is Frozenshades, Citizen of the Midlands.

Lynch Deadline tentatively set for 7 PM EST tomorrow. We'll see how things go.

Last night FFM was seen saddling up a horse and someone hit him with the agiel. That is all. Also a wolf decided to but the ramalamadingdong whatever on me. Heh. Doesn't stop good old-fashioned woodsman tracking.
