my aadsas status changed to Waitlisted, is this good news? should i write them a letter of interest or call to ask if anything needed?

Mine has not changed yet. It's still None....

For those who got accepted, has the status changed to Accepted? or None?
 
Has anyones portal been stuck at "MWU Credit Policy Statement"? I already paid the deposit and was filling everything out, but it got stuck at that page and won't let me click into anything else.

Yeah it doesn't seem like they send an email, only phone call and paper mail. I did get an email this morning inviting me to join the Schools App for Midwestern today, but it wasn't directly from Midwestern.
 
I reached out to admissions and they said official acceptance letters were sent via snail mail today.

i think you start getting the emails once you pay your deposit and submit the matriculation agreement. Because I did both of those and i recieved an email congratulating me on my acceptance as well as the Schools App email someone mentioned above

I'm not sure at what point this happened, but they created an MWU email for me that had the congratulations email as well. I'm assuming if you've been accepted then you'd have access to that email account. Check your MWU portal for more info!
 
So I have my interview coming up in two weeks and would like to confirm the interview style for this cycle! I have read previous posts and many mentioned that it is a closed file and 2 faculty to one student interview. Is it really true?

for those who got accepted, can you please share how you were able to stand out during the interview?? I am really worried that I might mess up this one too. I had two pre-December interviews but zero acceptance! I am trying to make changes to my preparation and improve in general. Please share tips and advice if you have any! Thanks so much!

Hey congrats!
SO yes, the interview itself is 20 minutes with 2 faculty. They will probably take turns asking you questions. It is closed file. The interview is no longer ethical questions. They just want to get to know you and your personality. I felt like the questions were pretty easy, such as how would someone describe you..
The most important advice I can give you is to (literally) be yourself! I know you hear this a lot but it's truee. Smile a lot and be enthusiastic

SO this might be a dumb question.. but where do I login to that email? I received the congratulations email with the email they created for me. But I'm not sure what to do with that email. I am checking the portal for more

outlook.com (it’s a Microsoft email account)
Password is the same as your Midwestern.edu one

Oh, well maybe that is for most of the other dental schools. However, I’m reading my acceptance letter for CDMI here and it states, “In order to make this offer of acceptance official, you must submit your matriculation agreement and deposit by January 5, 2020.”

Oh yea then it’s January 5. I thought every dental school was the same

Did they let you know on December 5? I remember they didn’t let students know of acceptance until December 3rd and so on.

I don’t think they do it in rounds, last cycle I interviewed mid January and got a call the next day but I have friends who also interviewed in January/ February and didn’t get accepted for weeks. I don’t think there’s really a distinct pattern they follow, it seems pretty random

Hello! I received an interview here and wanted to ask how I should best prepare for it? Should I practice the typical "why dentistry", "strengths/weaknesses", "how I would fit into the school" questions? Some have said on the thread that they ask questions to get to know your personality but what kind of questions would those be??
