Read writeup + his posts. Writeup indicates kill attempt stopped by a bible (apparently bibles stop bullets? who knew), he said he had a bible he needed thrown at him.

The writeup really misrepresented events if it was a defensive thing. Were you notified that your ability was used?

I played rehab. Wolves have out drugs in rehab to get players addicted. Would make sense if wolves were zombies in this game and had to bite enough people to get a zombie army. In rehab, we had to have everyone dead or addicted, so I could see a similar mechanism here.

But we lynched a wolf who was not a zombie, or at least we weren't given any indication she was one

Think usually people are notified. I mean, if allie was notified of being seered I would expect you to be notified of ability usage.

How many more times can I say notified?

I know this. Let's look at the night's events though.

- Two people infected
- One person shot at

I mean it's possible that the shot was by a villager who hasn't claimed it yet, but that feels unlikely considering yesterday's events. So that's a lot of actions for wolves in one night.
 
Last thoughts/questions for now:

N1 = 1 infected
N2 = 2 infected

Seems like some additive effect here

I'm clarifying with mods if i actually shot at someone, but whoever took the shot sounds village, unless we think a wall guard would be a baddie.

Either the healer comes out and claims they healed you or we flip you and get information about whether there is a healer that can save the infected or if you are no-longer village friendly.
I don't think its an item anymore because if it was, the person who used it could have claimed curing you already, without detriment to village.
Nothing personal, we just need more data without the healer being outed.

Also from the show: some of the wall guards were bad, cuz the governor and the leader of another town later didn't want Rick's group coming and going.

Well the write up from KC's night said a medic trying to help her but she still got infected. I took that to mean the Healer tried but wasn't able to cure her? Am I misreading?

I'm open to that interpretation, but that still means KC has to go. I wasn't concerned about this last night, but now that we have a seemingly growing infection problem, we need to address this.
 
Actually -- just thinking through this a bit...

I had hypothesized to mods yesterday that i got the ammo because I asked. (Was kind of why I was asking about risk taking & rewards, etc)

Allie also asked for ammo on the thread, iirc.

If we think wolves can pool resources then it was possibly a wolf who took the shot.
 
Okay to further go into what I think happened with me:
With the mod shenanigans I stated earlier I assumed the arrow is what protected me, as in my role description it states something to the effect of "cross bow for protection but arrows are hard to come by." I assumed this meant once I got some arrows I would be able to protect people. So I assumed that last night either someone gifted me an arrow or RNG was kind and I got an arrow. I am also assuming that some order of operations were discussed by mods or confused/muddled in the meantime so the arrow should have protected me from fatal bite, but originally didn't due to mod error (it's ok mods, I still love you all). And since I did receive medical care (however that works, it was stated in both write up and in my original PM results) what started as a fatal bite should have been downgraded by arrow protection = medical care saved me.

I'll grant you, this is a lot of assumptions on my part. But its the only thing that makes sense for me why I would originally have been told I was going to die at lynch write up but then rescinded.

I also mistakenly thought I still had the arrow and tried to see what I could do with it last night, but apparently it was used so I no longer have it. That fact also contributed to my aforementioned assumptions, though mods did clarify in PM that I could use it for self protection or to attack someone with it.

I'm more inclined to believe Pippy about her bullet thing now though since it sounds pretty similar to my role description of the cross bow/arrow thing in that she thought it was more defensive than offensive. We'll see.

That is almost the exact wording of my PM, fwiw. Different weapon of choice, but since people were able to deduce your character from your weapon, I don't think I'm going to provide all the deets about that information on my character.

ETA: I did not bother to actually ask if I could attack people, just jokingly asked how many people* I could shoot lol

Seeing as how I asked for an item and was given a bible, that makes three, potentially 4 instances of people asking for something on thread and getting what they need/want.

In which case.....someone want to give me another item?

Neither did mine in the role description. I just asked last night if I had to submit a name to protect or if it was passive protection of myself or what could I do with the arrow. I was then informed I no longer had aforementioned arrow but for future reference could hold onto it or use it on someone. I asked clarification if that meant to protect someone and was told no, to attack someone with it.

Also, could use more arrows or other fun items 😀 Maybe a quiver-full of arrows?

I really think mods would have clarified given the first write-up states the medic couldn't save her from infection and then the next write-up says no one noticed that someone changed and she left the infected list. That to me sounds ominous NOT that they made a mistake about order of operations and included it in the write up. Then both you and snowy were infected, so i think the numbers of wolves started really low and now we need to race to keep up.

Hah. That's funny. I called out Pippy's connection to allie (yanno, the dead wolf?) last night. Today, with information from Pippy that said she thought she was defense not offense, that matched what I have in my role so I retracted from my previous statement. If I wanted to pocket her I would've, IDK, agreed with some actual strategy she had not just back tracked on my paranoia.

I didn't notice the medic part on first read through. Couldn't this also implicate Weim as well though?
 
I think the KC issue is an egg that is going to need to be cracked sooner rather than later. Sorry KC. I feel like it's become a distraction today, and I'm ok voting that way because at best we get a wolf, and at worst we get info.

I saw her post from yesterday, which I cant find now ...stupid sdn....where she said she was trapped cause if she changed her lynch vote she looks like she is just changing to join the crowd and if she doesn’t she looks bad for not lynching the wolf.

I mean, who is that paranoid/defensive for no reason.. everyone does that when the obvious bandwagon is obvious. Why would anyone care. A wolf might feel persecuted for doing so but no one else should.

Oy, the only way I would be a wolf would be as a convert. And it's a bit soon to be convert hunting isn't it? Oh, and I'm NOT a convert. So, there's that too.

Not to mention the fact that the only information lynching me will give you will be... exactly all the information you already have: I'm Daryl Dixon, vanillager with a cross bow. Probably missing an arm or an ear or something. Ready to hunt some wolves +/- zombies.
 
And I don’t get all this suspicion on Mel. The guy ID’ed a wolf day 2. Highly unlikely a wolf would do that so early in the game, in a small game where there aren’t gonna be a lot of wolves, that is just crazy,

Pippy’s play and comment seem waaaay out there, but I presume she is always like that, cause what wolf would act so gardarned suspicious? I gotta assume she is just a crazy playing villager.
