Hey all,
I'm currently on an array of waitlists, but as of now my options are between Virginia Tech and Loyola. I was pretty interested in research back in college, so that is a factor for me although it would not be a deciding factor. Due to some financial aid, VTC will be around 35-40k$ cheaper than Loyola. The monetary difference definitely makes me lean towards VTC, although it's not large enough to push me all the way. I like to socialize and go out with friends, and I'm worried about the social life at VTC in Roanoke with a small class size versus Loyola in the outskirts of Chicago. Also, Loyola is an established program, and it may open more doors to residency programs due to its age. For those reasons, I'm currently thinking Loyola is my best option. What are everyone's thoughts? Thanks in advance for any advice!
