Yeh, I'm in Arkansas - only a few states away - and I didn't get anything either

perhaps they are waiting for duke to come out?? i reallllllly want a letter...
So I guess there's still hope. Nothing in the mail for me today either, here in Southern CT. But according to the USPS estimate I'm only three mailing days away.
No one's gotten anything yet? Really? That's surprising. Isn't this supposed to be the big batch?
Yup, it's the big batch. Maybe they had just finished making the decisions Monday, and didn't get all the letters compiled and sent out till Tuesday or Wednesday?
I'm pretty sure people have called and confirmed that the letters were sent on Monday. =/ Still. I maintain that someone should have posted in here by now if letters were received today and yesterday. Maybe the mail was picked up really late...?
Someone on MD apps claims to have been accepted to Emory on 3/5? http://www.mdapplicants.com/viewprofile.php?id=16495 Weird. Maybe they clicked wrong?
Also, I was nosing around MD apps and the majority of the current Emory acceptances have multiple acceptances (not that MD apps is actually that reflective of the actual pool of people... but it's all I've got). I think my current allowed bit of optimism is that I'm getting wait listed but that there will be lots of wait list movement!
Haha. Yeah I think I might be confusing my current optimism with denial as well.
I guess the next stage is anger, then bargaining, followed by depression. After I go through all that, maybe I'll get an acceptance. 😀
I hate posting, but if you insist.. I received an acceptance letter today.
DC Metro area
Nothing today either 🙁
here's for joining the bummed-out bandwagon (nothing for me either).
(but hey, lets be positive... this is my first post where I've had a good reason to use this smily face.... so long peanut butter jelly time).
I admit I'm still holding onto a tiny bit of hope
me too, it just makes it so much more painful if the mailbox is empty
Nothing today either, but I was placed on the continued list for Pritzker 🙁
It's kind of surprising how quiet this thread generally has been.
This is also spring break for some schools... maybe postings are delayed due to that.
Or maybe we're witnessing a chronic epidemic of bummed-out-ness.
I wonder why they didn't send acceptances and waitlists out at the same time?

There's one more person in the Emory Class Thread who just got accepted, and at least one of the MDApps people was accepted from this mailing date.
This is the Emory thread from last cycle: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=478303&highlight=Emory&page=3
I'm hoping wait list notifications will come out sometime next week, similar to last year. I'm not sure about rejections though, and whether they reject anyone post-interview.
if there's nothing in the mail on monday, is it safe for me to assume that i've been waitlisted/rejected?
I got an acceptence in the mail satuday in oregon from the march 10 mailing
good luck everyone
Did anyone else who sent their FAFSA to Emory and who hasn't been accepted yet get this email? We've Received Your Financial Aid Application
"We have received your federal or institutional Profile application and look forward to assisting you throughout the aid cycle. "
"A personal Financial Aid Advisor has been assigned to you and will be your main contact throughout your student experience. "
I thought it odd that they assigned me an advisor when I'm not even accepted 🙁
It means you were accepted!
Congrats!!
and congrats on being lazy! 👍
I'm very confused... i haven't gotten an acceptance in the mail and i thought they were already all sent out last monday. I'm 3 states away, there's no reason it shouldn't have made it here by now. And how am I lazy?
This was officially the most anticlimactic "big acceptance mailing" the world has ever seen.
Sorry to bring the bearer of bad news, but I also received an email as early as last monday telling me that they were missing some info from my financial aid application (I had already sent them FAFSA and everything). I called them up to see if it implied that I'd gotten in, and they said no, that it's an auto-email and they just want to make sure everyone's financial aid file is complete whether they've gotten in or not.
Anyways, no news here either. This was officially the most anticlimactic "big acceptance mailing" the world has ever seen.
Yeah that's what I figured. I don't even feel like calling and asking. I don't want to have to go through the awkwardness and humiliation of hearing "Ooooh no sorry, you weren't meant to get that. You've actually been rejected."
might as well call... at worst, perhaps they will take pity on you?
I'll think about it. But seriously, did anyone else get this email who already submitted their fafsa and hasn't been accepted? Or has anyone who HASN'T been accepted and submitted the fafsa not get one of these?
