I got the phone call this morning too!! An email was also sent in the afternoon with a personalized letter. good luck to everyone waiting!
 
Things are not looking good for those of us who have still not heard...
 
I withdrew from Baylor very recently with a heavy heart. Here's to hoping one of you gets that spot!
 
Got a call from Melody. Asked if I was still interested in Baylor (I sent an update email yesterday). Kinda had that half-stuttering, half-brain freeze response. Probably from the shock of seeing a Houston area code on my phone. Sadly, I don't think it was an acceptance though. I hope I didn't botch anything....

It sounds as if she is eliminating people who may not be interested or something to make a shorter waitlist. Either way, it is good news.
 
Just got an acceptance! IS, interviewed in Oct.

Seems like it though I did send an update letter yesterday so I doubt I'd be doing that if I didn't want Baylor. :laugh:

Congrats to all. That was a lot of acceptances. I looked at the facebook page and it jumped from the 140s to 150s in a few days.
 
Hmm...seems like the class is probably about full. Do you have a link to the facebook group? Haven't found it via searching...

anyone from OOS get accepted lately or turn down their spot? I'm wondering if they're all full of OOSers by now.
 
I received a call yesterday from Melody asking if I was still interested in BCM.

Today at 11, I saw a missed call from a 713 number and called the office of admissions. Dr. Eddins told me I was accepted.


If you get a call asking if you are still interested, that is a GOOD sign.

Good luck to everyone still waiting. I thought I had no chance at this point, so I am sure you guys will hear!

I certainly hope so. I got that same call yesterday. Though no call today.
 
The fact that they are calling people to gauge their interest before letting them in makes me think they are filling their last couple of available spots...
 
I called admissions late yesterday afternoon after the flurry of acceptances and they said they were still giving out acceptances and the class was not full.

Congrats on all the acceptances off the waitlist. I'm still holding out hope since I want an acceptance so bad. It's just getting bleaker as the days go on. ::Sigh::

Which probably means I botched another chance with that nervous wreck reaction to the phone call. :laugh:
 
Congrats to all.

It is a good thing the class still isn't full, but it does make me lose hope as the positions are being filled.

Ahhhhh I hope this means I get a call soon! Darn memorial day weekend... it's going to be a loooong wait until Tuesday 🙁

For those of you all getting in from the waitlist I was wondering if you could post your mcat score just to see if i even have a shot off the waitlist cuz i feel like if the mcat score is the defining trait then my score is much lower than the class average...thanks 🙂...best of luck to everyone still waiting 🙂

I decided on UT Southwestern. For my situation it just made the most sense. It was a tough choice though because going into the cycle BCM was my top choice.

That's also a great school. I had the opposite decision last year (got into Baylor early and UTSW after 5/15), and maybe I would be over there if things had happened in the opposite order. Good luck to you 🙂
