You have decent stats (although a 33N is hardly "slaughter[ing] the MCAT") but every year people with stats just as good as yours end up without an acceptance. And every year people with stats significantly worse than yours get admitted to some pretty decent schools. The fact that you applied to so few schools isn't going to help either. Good luck. I hope it works out for you.

Interviewing 10/14 - anyone else? I was complete around 8/4

Question to anyone else who has gotten the interview e-mail/anyone who knows how to deal with photos on the computer: The email says to send a 2x2 digital photo...2 inches? 2 what? And how do I measure that? My computer does not measure in inches...anyone know how to deal with this? help!

I submitted everything on 8/3 but my letters still say "no" next to them. Should I be calling the school, or did everyone experience a delay with that status page?😕

Congrats on the interview!

Just approximate. I'd go for something approaching the shape of a square with only your head in it. Then they can resize at will and print out a 2x2.

I did not experience that...I did call at one point because something went wrong with my payment, and the lady was really friendly. I would just call - she even asked me for my name and said she would keep an eye out for my app...so def can't hurt to call

definitely call! i had the same thing and got tired of waiting and called, they called me right back and said they had them for a while but didn't update the site. after i called she said i was complete and under review 🙂

I think I was complete around 8/7, interview invite email on 8/11. OOS.
 
Alright so the lady added the letters and I'm now complete. Bummer that I lost ~10 days on that. 🙁 But at least the admissions lady was really nice!🙂

did anyone else have problems paying for the secondary? it keeps saying my payment is getting denied even tho i'm doing things with a debit card.. GOSH this is really annoying me!!

i have been complete since july 28th (aprox) and have heard nothing.

same boat as you. complete since july 27 and no word yet.
already received interviews from other places i was complete at much later. real weird.
 
so do you think no news is good news, or it is a lack of a denial on its way?
 
my guess is that our stats werent good enough for the initial invites and well be looked at more thoroughly? at least thats what seems to be what other schools are doing, im hoping jefferson does the same.

i think we should be hearing something within the next 2-3 weeks? i honestly have no idea.

every night i find my self checking and rechecking each school's status page. idk why. its not like theyre gonna change at like 1 am lol
 
worst part is, the other week i tried cutting myself off. then i got an interview invite and felt compelled to tell everyone on here so i had to come back on. i told people on here i got an interview before any of my real-people friends. FML

Hi, I was wondering if anyone received a conformation e-mail after submitting their secondary. I submitted my secondary on 7/8 and have heard nothing. When I check my status it just says that I have completed the application and that they have received everything. Anyway, I just wanted to confirm that they did not send out some type of conformation e-mail.
 
apparently they do not. just need to keep checking the status site.

By "complete" do you mean you have a "Yes" next to the four rows?
 
So I did end up getting the interview invite email. Did you guys just hit "reply" to that email and send them a pic w/ added info? They didn't specify if there was a certain email addy to send it to....

Yup, that's what I did. The guy will email you back confirming that they've received your email and provide more information (interiew schedule and student hosts and such).

How long after verification did it take before you recieved the seconday by email? Thanks👍
 
Just got the interview details. They recommend the Doubletree hotel or the Marriot. Anyone know which one is closer to the school?

I'd try and stay with a student if you can. Then you get a chance to see what sort of housing you can afford in Philly (which will be way better than places you'd be living in other cities, say NYC).

Good thinking. I'm a non-trad though (26), wonder if it will be weird for me to ask for student hosting?😳
 
Do they wait for AAMC to be verified before sending out secondaries?
Ive been waiting for my secondary for 3+ weeks.

Eh, I think you'll be OK. I'm almost 24, and I'd do an overnight if I didn't already live in the city.

I handed in my supplemental and had recs and MCAT cleared and I received an email saying my secondary was in and fee was paid but I never received a "Complete" email. Did you guys receive a "Complete" email.

nope, if all the checks are there you are complete

Nope. Just update on the page saying everything was in. They'll add an interview invite section once you get one via email.
 
Oh shOOTT! I just found the damn Jefferson secondary in my spam ..... Crap I submitted right now, but I doubt I'll have a chance submitting this late.... crap!😱😕:scared:😡
