This may have been asked before but does VCU accept update letters (it's been a while since the interview), and if they do who would I address them to?

They might (in which case I'd think you should send it to Dr. MWC) but I believe that our rankings are already set so it might not change much regardless of what you send. I may be wrong tho.
 
They do not change your rankings, which is what they use as they go down the waitlist. Any additional documentation you send will not alter your ranking, if that is your intention.

What's up with financial aid?! I turned in my forms a ways back and May 15th is quickly approaching. Anyone know when we are going to get out packages?

At the second look on April 10th, they said they would begin to send out financial aid info in 10 days. Here we are on April 25th...

anyone know how generous/not generous vcu has been with grants/scholarships for OOSers? do they have better packages to give to OOS disadvantaged students? just trying to get an idea while I await my package.. thanks all 🙂

Well they sent me an email notifying me that my status on the VCU web-site had changed. I logged in to the Application Status Page and Voila! Keep the hope alive folks!

Does anyone else's heart skip a beat everytime the clock strikes 6pm VCU time? Good luck everybody, I hope this slow movement so far compared to the past couple of years isn't a sign of anything... 😳

Thanks dude. I really appreciate all the advice you gave us while we were going through the program. Nobody else has been a more vocal advocate and helpful resource about VCU as you. Congrats yourself on getting into Hopkins.

Just wondering if anyone has been accepted off the in-state waitlist. I know it doesn't move as much as the out-of-state list, but wanted to see if anyone's gotten in off the list yet.
 
anyone know how many IS generally get off the WL? It seems like most movement occurs for OOS'ers according to last year's forum...

Ugghhh...It broke my f'ing heart to withdraw...my spouse couldn't swing a job in Richmond - third generation VCU/MCV...it hurts...and will surely hurt my wallet!

Aw man, that sucks. Goodluck to you wherever you go. Were you IS or OOS?
 
I'll be heading to Georgetown - the cards just landed that way...not so sure that bill is worth it though.🙄
 
couldn't do first 2 years in richmond, then 2 years at inova?
 
is it at all possible to determine your position on the waitlist? or your chances of getting off of it?
