Anyone hear back today? I heard that some people heard back...not sure if it's true
 
No idea. I received the call at the end of the day like at 4:30 pm pacific time so there is a real possibility that calls will be made tomorrow. But again I have no idea. Good luck!

I got an offer today around 4:30pm. Super excited!
 
for those accepted, when did you guys interview?
 
I interviewed on the 27th of February (Saturday). I was accepted and am very happy. I have not yet received a status change.

I called just now, they are going to send out more acceptances today, so I guess they're doing batches.?
 
Hi guys,

I received the acceptance notification by phone today around 12 noon PST! 🙂

I interviewed 1/28. My status has not changed.

Good luck to those still waiting. I'm looking forward to meeting the prospective 2012 cohort.

Did they say they were going to finish sending acceptances today?
 
Called office, all calls of acceptance have not been made yet, they will be called by end of week. I noticied my status changed to "letter sent". does anyone who was accepted reflect this same status?

No status change for me. Haven't heard back yet though. I wonder what "letter sent" means...

Odd thing I just checked again and it's back to original status. Maybe I wasn't suppose to see that status change lol
 
well doesnt sound like anymore calls were made, so ..expecting rejection letter to be emailed tomorrow.
 
i bet they'll send the e-mails at the end of the business day on Friday so they can just leave for the weekend haha
 
I think it's over? For 18 spots I highly doubt they could not have finished calling everyone by today? Let us hope the waitlist starts moving !

Yeah you're right. I just wish they would give us more information, instead of keeping us here guessing 😕
 
For people who were accepted: how long did they give you to accept/reject their offer?

They didn't have waitlist emails last year... either you're rejected, accepted later because a spot opens up, or they just never contact you again. Last year, at least from what I experienced, they sent out 2 post-interview rejection waves and left the rest in limbo. I was one of the ones left in limbo indefinitely, and my next email from them was after medical school already started in August, and that email (in October) was to tell me that I was not going to receive a secondary application for my second round applying (killing my chances for an interview). Not a fan of this program's communication tactics.

Like what kdurg001 said earlier, Margie can't release the number of acceptances sent out so far. She did say, however, that they are still deciding on acceptances to send out as we speak, meaning some of us are probably at least under consideration still. Then I asked her if all 24 acceptances will be sent out by the end of this week (as per traffic rules). She said that Thomas Haider does follow the traffic rules, but instead of sending out all 24 acceptances, they are required to send out only half by the end of March. As for how much longer we will have to wait, she said this can go on right until matriculation....

I didn't ask her if they sent any letters out recently or if they're planning to.

So yeah, didn't really get a lot of new info, except that they definitely aren't required to have accepted all 24 students by the end of March..which means more waiting for us.

I really hope UCLA PRIME doesn't keep us hanging like this :/

+1, I'd like to know this too. Anyone call today/yesterday?

I called last week and they said we should hear back by the end of the week, which at that time meant Friday. I don't know if that ever happened though... 😕😕😕
 
I called on Monday and the secretary said the statuses of all applicants will be released by the middle of the week. Let's hope today or tomorrow.
