I went ahead and started working on my FAFSA form. Does anyone know if its ok to go ahead and turn that in before I get my campus assignment?
 
I'm trying to log into the scholarship application website with my AAMC number and my last name as an accepted student, but it keeps saying the log-in is invalid. Is anyone else having this problem? I haven't gotten my campus assignment yet, so maybe that is why it isn't working? I think some of the scholarships are based on which campus you are assigned to.
 
Mine does the same thing when I try to get to the scholarship form on their webpage. It may be because we do not have our campus assignments yet.
 
Conversation switched from interviews to campus assignments. I suppose I should take that as a sign that there aren't going to be anymore IIs?

I know someone who does interviews and he told my dad he has another interview this coming week; I would say UAB is approaching the end of II... I think i read it here or somewhere that the uab's last interview date is march 8th
 
I had a buddy who told me he just go an interview at the beginning of March yesterday.
 
My status changed this morning from "secondary complete and under review" to "remain under consideration for interview." I'm an OOS reapplicant...do you think there's any real chance I might be offered one of the last interview spots? Thanks!
 
Difficult to say... I've had the "remain under consideration for interview" status for a few months. The only thing we can do is sit back and wait. Perhaps we should consider writing update letters.

Have they extended all interview invites? when is the last day and when do they send the last invite. still "remain Under Consideration for interview" Is that for real or is it all over? BTW IS avg gpa avg mcat.GPA can be explained but no excuse for MCAT. Good Luck to everyone on this forum.
 
For those who have been accepted and sent in their forms, did your online secondary update with the date they received your offer of acceptance form?

There was some lag time between when I sent the form and when it was entered online. I don't remember exactly how long it took, but I remember it registered when I was just starting to feel a little anxious about it. If you're really worried, I'd call. I'm sure they get that A LOT.

Yeah, I've been remaining under consideration since October 17th. I sent in an update letter in mid-January but maybe I should send a letter of interest this time?

Sent two already-one in December and one earlier this month. I'm out of school, so I won't have any additonal grades/updates to send. I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed!

I looked online and got the bham assignment today as well. Woo woo. Still waiting for the letter in the mail though. I know that can take awhile though. I also finally submitted my FAFSA earlier this week. Anyone know what we are supposed to do after we submit that thing?
 
For those still waiting, here are some informal dates from last years SDN posts:

March 10 - last interview
March 11 to 30 - Acceptances given
April 5/6 - waitlist comes out
April 7 to May 20 - 1st tier acceptances
May 27 to July 18 - 2nd tier acceptances

Or the year before. They almost did though, it seems like everyone I talk to in my class was accepted off the wait list.

Two years ago they did dip into the 3rd tier. When the waitlist comes out, I would feel cautiously optimistic if I were in the 2nd tier, and very optimistic about the 1st tier.
 
I've been remaining under consideration for interview since mid-October. At this point, do we know if there will be anymore II's or if there are even available spots?

+1 Speaking of which, I just got the email from Emory that they're done interviewing. I wonder if UAB will do the same or send an actual letter.

Yeah I just got the same email. I still haven't heard from 4 schools after submitting secondaries.
 
Yeah, I'm only waiting on UAB and USC Greenville for more interviews at the moment. We're subscribed to like all of the same threads, lol.
 
Just an FYI, around 68 students in my current class (MS-1) came off the wait list last year. Don't give up hope!
 
It looks like those of us who have not received interview invitations have been rejected. Their last interview date is 03/08.

Well here's to a year of post-bacc programs and application repair. 👍 See you guys on the other side of that.
 
So I know tomorrow is the last interview day at UAB but im a little confused because two weeks ago I was still "secondary complete and under review" and I checked my status over the weekend and it had changed to "still under consideration for interview". Im wondering why they would do this and not just reject me ?? is this going on with anyone else?

I have had that status for months. Unfortunately, I think we can write this one as a loss.

I know of someone else who got accepted today and interviewed on the same day as me back in October. Still waiting here though...
