It Depends. Before I interviewed in Phoenix, I knew I liked the school. After the interview and talking with students and staff, I fell in love with the school. Research Tucson and trust your instincts. If there are areas of the school that make you pause, then that should be a red flag. If there are a lot of areas that you think would help you have a successful medical education, then you should very much consider interviewing to get a first hand look at the school and the city. Who knows, if you interview at Tucson and like it, you can hope for an acceptance. If you end up not liking it, you can withdraw your application and know that Phoenix is the best place for you.
