My friend and I actually called the MD and the MD PhD office on Monday to see when the decision will be released (one of us applied to MD and one to MD/PhD). The MD office said "sometime this month" and the MD/PhD office said "sometime this week".

It doesn't help much though ... sorry guys. I guess we will just have to keep on waiting.
