I saw that after I got my interview invite

I have the "CWRU Exploration Guide Contact List - 3rd and 4th Year" but no interview invitation from CCLCM or Case. 😕 🙁 I don't think it means anything.

Those links just showed up on my status page today, too. I checked between 10:30 and 11:00 this morning and it wasn't there but when I just checked now it was...I'd be interested to see if this showed up for everyone else as well.

btw I do not have an interview from here so I'm hoping this means something but seriously doubt that it does.

I have that, too, geez...listen, unless they don't know what site administration is, it could very well mean an II is forthcoming. Complete 09/03 and reasonable stats for Case...

It's just weird that they'd give us travel docs if we aren't traveling there, but it seems like everyone got it too.

I am honored to say... Put on hold pre-interview today for CP

My stats are not stellar and this school/program is my dream school, so I am happy. Just hoping for UP to pull through for me! Now that CP has given me a hold, I assume UP will send me a decision as soon as they make one?

Hey, sorry this update is so late haha but I was in the same situation, being a week away from my interview without any correspondence from the student hosts. I emailed the Student committee on admissions (email is on the student host form) and they said they had been having issues with the student hosting system. They were really helpful in finding me a student host so I would definitely recommend emailing them if you haven't had any luck in resolving the situation yet

They have a schedule of who your interviewer is and when they will be interviewing you.

Maybe, but it's better than an out right rejection. I just wouldn't expect anything. When were you complete? I submitted on Aug 23rd and I'm getting anxious for an answer, good or bad.

Would it be worth sending an update letter to a school that I've been put on hold at? Does CCLCM care for update letters or do they find them annoying? I've gotten a publication in press, attended a few conferences, won a best presentation award and a few other things between the time I submitted my AMCAS and now. No grades yet, though, and I'm not even counting on them being too awesome.

Any input from people familiar with CCLCM would be very much appreciated! It's definitely one of my top choices.

Congratulations on your achievements! 🙂 They are substantial, and I would definitely send in an update letter.

Please do not speculate too much into the complete dates, there are so many other factors that influence how long your application is reviewed for that have nothing to do with the strength of your application.

It's not a slow rejection obviously. That's why I said it is better than a rejection... At most schools a hold is not a good thing, but there still is hope. I'm not sure how Case does things but at the majority of schools a hold before interview will ultimately result in a rejection.

Interview invite about 2 hours ago. Complete on 8/23.

My stats are: 3.56/3.57/39R. I was actually lucky enough to sign up for an interview spot on 10/19, so a week from now. After that date, the next available dates are in December.

They said I was not originally invited for an interview, but they are offering me the opportunity to have a phone interview with two of their most experienced members of the adcom, who would decide if they should invite me or not. Has anyone EVER heard of this happening or what to expect? I'm happy just to not have been rejected yet but I had no idea this was even an option... For what it's worth I was on hold prior to receiving this update and was rejected from UP a few weeks ago.

WOW did you have to call to find out about this? Email? what?
Any by hold, did they send you a "we're unable to offer you an interview at this time but..." email?

They sent me an update via email because my iapply page wasn't allowing them to update it haha.. but yeah, it was previously the hold status. I literally had no idea this was ever done and I have no idea what to expect, except I know I've really gotta make this count if I want to get to an actual interview...

For some reason, I thought they said to expect about 3 weeks for a decision. Does anyone else recall?

Three weeks, eh? If that's the case, I'll find out in a month. Sooner than I would've thought. Terrifying.

They have meetings every other Monday and release decisions the next day (Tuesday). I believe that means they'll release their first 2 decisions on 10/16 and 10/30, from my understanding.
