I am on the east coast as well (not too far from NY actually) so you it shouldn't take much longer for you.
Haha that is, if a letter is actually coming 😀

Hey ya'll, I'm an OoSer that interviewed on 11/7/12..anyone else in that boat? Is it possible they reviewed any of those interviewees last week?
I interviewed on the 7th as well. I am IS and a reapplicant, so our situations are different. But my interviewer told me the absolute earliest I should expect to be reviewed is December, but January or February is more likely.
And of course stats and chance play a big role into when you get reviewed with IU, but he made it seem like with our interview group at least November would be very unlikely.
Where was your letter sent to? IS or OOS?
thanks
Did they send the three emails to all accepted applicants? I haven't received one so I guess I'm not accepted yet lol
I have not received my acceptance letter in the mail yet but I just found out that I got accepted today when I received the three amazing emails! I interviewed on Sept 12th! This is going to be the best thanksgiving ever! Is there a facebook group?
aw no emails for me 🙁. Maybe next month.
Safe to say you picked south bend? Haha hoping to hear back soon too.
Hoping to hear back about my campus assignment soon (I remember reading somewhere that they send out campus assignments for non-EDPers at the end of every month starting in November).
Did anyone's application status page change after an acceptance?
Mine changed to something like "To be able to see your status please complete the following step(s): Graduate School Applications & Fees and "Establish IU Network Credentials"
Seems a little strange because there is nothing about an acceptance on the status page even though I've received my acceptance letter.
Just called the admissions office and they said that the first batch of campus assignments (for non-EDPers) will hopefully be coming out early next week, but not guaranteed.
Hope everyone gets the campus they want!

I am an OOS and would prefer to attend school at the indianapolis campus. Do you mean that people who even chose indianapolis will get assignment in the coming week or we would have to wait till May as the acceptance letter stated.

Irish answered your question, but one more thing to keep in mind is that only 65% of applicants who want to be at the Indianapolis campus actually get placed there. So it's definitely a bit of a toss up.
To those that will be interviewing for the rest of the cycle, if you're looking for a place to stay, University Place Hotel is being converted into dorm rooms. Construction is due to start next month.

To those of you who accepted in the first batch and sent in your preferences early, check your admissions status portal. I haven't gotten a letter, but my campus assignment has been determined!!!!!!!! Hope you all get your #1! 🙂
Any more news on campus assignments?
Me too! South bend also!
