Does the status only say "status feedback not yet defined!!!" when you are going to be invited for an interview or is there another time in the application process where it says that? I haven't checked my status in a while and can't even remember if I was ever under-review but I am now seeing the not defined status.
Thank you for your help! Long time lurker, first time poster 🙂
That was really cryptic. Care to share yours first? 🙂
Well,
I started off with two interviews scheduled, and they called me from lunch and asked me to take part in a third. I had a great experience and really liked the school though. I was just wondering if anyone else had to do three interviews. I really hope I get it, my day at Loyola was awesome!
They ask to do a third interview when there is a large difference in assessment between your first two interviewers. The 3rd was the tiebreaker. Hope it went well for you!
thank you very much! Hopefully I'll get a call soon 🙂Mine appeared like that. I called them up and they were saying I was invited for interview and should expect a call. It seems to be the going thing that when it says "status feedback not yet defined!!!" that interview invite is coming up.
I've got an interview here soon - Anyone know if the office of admissions is ok with holding a bag of luggage? Or would I be better just leaving my stuff at my hotel?
QFT, also having a 3rd interview doesn't put you at any sort of disadvantage. Until Oct 15th...![]()
FWIW, I got an e-mail from admissions today saying that the "Status feedback not yet defined!!!!" just means that they are reviewing your application. Or at least it did in my case.
yea it was kind of a buzzkill, but I wasn't getting my hopes up too much because it was still so ambiguous haha. Who knows still early on in the season, hopefully they will show me some love later!
yea it's weird that my status isn't "under review" or something haha.Really? Wow that definitely is a buzzkill. The day before I got my ii it said "complete and under review" or whatever that status is. Then the next morning around 10am I got the phone call for ii and when I checked my status later that day it said "status feedback not yet defined". I guess they review quickly in some cases.
Submitted secondary a month ago, they still haven't even downloaded my letters. Please, guys? 🙁
Yep, me too.
Dumb question maybe, but do they download letters selectively of applicants they're already interested in?
Giordano's deep dish pizza!
LOU MALNATIS IS BETTER THAN G'S! Sorry, strong opinion on pizza in Chicago, hahah
I second that! Just interviewed yesterday and ate here last night! It's the bomb.
Also, this school just became my dream school after the interview. What a great place!

What about hot dogs?
You can't go wrong with Portillos.
Great, thanks! Are there good places to eat right around campus?
Is there a place to leave bags at the admissions office?
Yup! They were really nice about that. They have a cabinet you can just put your stuff in. Especially if you are interviewing on a weekday, there's not many other people interviewing that day so not a big deal at all.
On another note.. OCTOBER 15th.. why can't you come sooner🙁
2 interviewers right? Are they both professors/adcom or is one a student?
One was a student for me. But they are both part of the adcom.
Interview invite a couple hours ago. I didn't get the chance to call back before they closed today, but I'm so pumped about this one. Loyola is fantastic!
Great, thank you. Did you have two one-on-one interviews or one two-on-one?
2 one on ones. Tomorrow is the big day huh? Kill it!
Congrats! How long were you under review for?
Someone mentioned that there is no EM residency at Loyola, and that that would be changing. Anyone have an idea about when that would be?
You are very correct. We do not have an EM residency. However, while at an EM mini-conference that we hold at our school (we do a good job compensating for no residency) my friend and I were stopped by an EM attending in the hall who asked our graduation year for no particular reason. We said 2015. He then essentially said they could have a residency up and running for our graduation year. 👍
Until then it has been no problem for Stritch students to match in EM because of the plethora of away rotation possibilities in Chicago (don't even have to sublease!). If you interview with us you will get our match list and see we placed plenty of people in EM last year.
Even so I will reiterate, by your 3rd year we would most likely have a residency up and running.
