true...i'm just so anxious for a chance to stay in CA! USC sounds like an amazing place to go to school. Been complete since July but I haven't been rejected...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN

If you haven't been following this thread, many people who were in complete in Sept. have gotten interview invites. Personally, I was complete mid Sept. and I have already went on my interview. I am currently waiting to hear back from them on post-interview. I'm sure many others are in the same boat as me.

My bad, I was sleep deprived and should have better worded my question; I have been following this thread (quite religiously actually :laugh:) but I'm wondering if anyone has gotten an interview invite who was complete in September. I saw that you were complete 9/7 a few pages back and received an interview fairly soon afterwards, so congratulations! But if I'm not mistaken after scouring the last few pages, I don't think anyone else complete in September in this thread has gotten an interview invite. Aside from you, I've only seen a bunch of rejections. I was complete about two weeks after you so I'm curious as to whether they have stopped giving out interview invites after your complete date 🙁

Rejected yesterday as well... I really thought I was going to at least get an interview here, but when I saw an email from them and it was friday, I knew it was all over before I even read it. 🙁 Now I just have to figure out how to improve my app. Does anyone know when it's appropriate to contact an admissions counselor about why I was rejected? I know my MCAT score was low, but I want to find out if there is something else I can do to be competitive.

Wait wat? You've heard back from all of the schools you applied to? How many schools was it?
 
complete in mid August and still silence.. At this point I am just glad I didn't get rejected just yet.
 
Same complete beginning of August and silence. Any idea if USC is receptive to pre-interview LOI if this is my number one?

That's what everyone says about every school until they have an acceptance somewhere else 🙂 But no, they won't care about your pre-interview LOI. As a matter of fact, not many schools would when they have 1000s to interview.

I have acceptances elsewhere and I can still say USC is my number one. And I know certain schools (GW) are more receptive to them than others

Hah fair enough. But really though, from this thread and last year's, it seems that USC will ignore those types of emails. But I guess it won't hurt to try, right?

I called recently to ask whether USC is receptive to LOIs pre-interview. They are not. So... I guess we just wait and hope for an interivew invite and that's all we can do.
 
I am guessing we will hear more tomorrow and Friday just following the trend

Friday = Rejection ?

We haven't had invites in forever, but the Friday rejection trend is solid.

IMO, they have still been sending out invites. Just no one has posted about it.
 
Hey I am OOS and interviewing at a school in LA in a month. Has anyone had any luck with an "in the area" email?

Just from reading the thread it seems like the are not responsive to that, but what's the worst they say no thanks

Not that SDN is a great sample, but it appears as though they didn't meet this week. I read earlier from another poster they meet every two weeks. At the time I thought the poster was talking about interviewed candidates; maybe I was wrong.
 
I've been trying to call their admissions department because my fee will not be accepted, despite having gone through my credit card about 6 times so far (woops..). Anyone know why they aren't picking up the phones today?
 
Why'd you guys have to bump this. Got me excited/disappointed

considering how cbas has a profile picture that's the same as my facebook profile picture it's safe to say he would probably know where usc is hahaha. WORLD SERIES CHAMPS WHAT.
