Good luck to everyone waiting for an II. For those who have done the Skype interviews for their special programs, any general info you can provide?
 
Just recieved an II this morning, my first! So there's hope everyone! The only available date was Feb 14th, so it looks like I'll be in Davis for Valentine's Day.

Quite a shock indeed and especially warming after the mass UCSD hold email from yesterday.

I submitted all of my materials on 10/27 but got the "complete" email on 11/08.

I thought davis admissions office is closed during thanksgiving? Either ways congrats on the invite.

Maybe or maybe we're so awesome that they just had to come into the office to invite us! 😛

Either way, doesn't matter just got an invite today!!! In state Complete 11/15

It's been 4 weeks since our interview so I thought about sending a message but then came across some info on the admissions process website saying that post interview decisions are made within 30-45 days... This wait is tough and I know they verbally estimated 2 weeks for us but I'm hoping they're just dealing with a lot of apps comin in! :/

I saw that too 🙁 I'm hoping and thinking they'll let us know this coming week. Hope we both get the phone call =]

My acceptance letter came via email on a Friday so keep a lookout there too. Good luck everyone!!
 
This is so weird.... I interviewed 10/18 and haven't heard a thing! Anyone else in the same boat? Has anyone talked to the admissions office about what their process is?? At this point, I'm even hoping for a waitlist spot!

Does anyone know how to sign up for Interviews? I was recently invited (last week); however, the link does not provide/show any dates. I tried calling the admissions office but no one ever picks up the phone.

Just keep checking the interview tab. It usually gets updated.
 
How do we go about signing up for a host? Will we get an email about it when its closer to our date? I may be from NorCal, but I think it'd be worth it to stay with a host.

Hmmm...so there's still hope for those completed in mid-Sept? It's been 2+ months already and no word of either a rejection or II :\

I've been complete since september too, but no word:/
I sent them a message last week (and it says they've read it), but of course no response.
Ah I just want an update!
 
Complete on 10/3, IS, cGPA3.55, sGPA 3.95, 32MCAT... haven't heard anything. Keeping my fingers crossed for Davis, but planning for the worst!

Same, except been complete for a bit longer. Just hoping my one interview elsewhere turns into an acceptance 👍

That's weird. I was complete in early October and haven't heard anything. What exactly is the pre-interview waitlist? Maybe I'm on there as well

They notify you if you are placed on the waitlist. The general consensus seems to be that if you haven't hears hold or II within a month, It's more likely to be a silent rejection. (Sob)

I've been complete since mid-August and still no word 🙁 I agree I just want an update! Tell me what's going on! haha
 
complete by 10/14 and haven't heard a word from them 🙁
 
If I haven't received any post-interview news for ~7 weeks, is it most likely a rejection?
 
I don't like to say this....given the time lapse, I would think its wait list/rejection. I was notified of being wait listed ~4wks. Best of luck!!

I'm at about 8 weeks now and thinking the same thing. Tell me there's someone out there that has gotten good news this long after their interview!!

Congrats! My only tips are to listen well, to show your caring characteristics first then to be compassionate in your answers. Also do impress the Dean of Admissions during your group interview too. Good luck!

Good luck with your interview! Be personable during the MMI and your meeting with the Dean and you'll be in great shape!
