Just did some searching looks like last year the first II went out around 9/16, the year before 9/21, the year before that 9/23 so looks like next week may be the week for some "love"
 
I submitted my secondary at the beginning of september. Any insights on when I might be complete?

This is aggravating...
 
II today!!! IS, submitted on 07/19, completed on 08/04. Interview probably on 10/01. Everyone, I would really appreciated your insight or thoughts on the MMI, how to be ready? I'm nervous! All the luck to everyone!

Submitted secondary 07/20/14

Application complete on portal 07/28/14

Dates available are October 1, October 8, October 10, October 15, and October 17, and you schedule by e-mail.

It has been over 2 months since my first interview invite, I was starting to feel like I would never get another. So excited!!!

I emailed asking for the 1st 🙂 So hopefully there are still spots!

I've had one MMI already, and it honestly was pretty fun. There isn't a whole lot you can do to prepare, other than just being ready to formulate thoughts quickly and communicate ideas with clarity and brevity.
 
For those who received an II, how long did it take you to confirm your interview date? I responded to the email soon after I got it on Friday, and haven't heard back yet. I know that's not that much time, but I'm anxious :/

Same here, and I responded on Thursday afternoon.
 
I replied 10-20 minutes after getting my II on Thursday. No confirmation yet. I reeeeally hope I get my first choice date.
 
So, nobody has gotten confirmation of interview at this point? My deadline is tomorrow, put in a call this afternoon as a precaution.
 
Had anyone with an II from Friday received a confirmation email? My deadline is tomorrow so I am feeling anxious
 
What is this deadline all of you are mentioning?
 
There is an explicit deadline to reply to the interview invitation e-mail.

Ok- just wondering how that would cause anxiety then? Couldn't people just respond to the email right away?

Yeah I think what was happening is people weren't getting a response back so they didn't know for sure the admin office had received their email.
 
Exactly, it was an e-mail response for scheduling and the confirmation did not come until several days later, after the response deadline.

Ah I see, that makes sense. If anyone is worried (in general) I would just suggest calling!
 
For those who have already submitted their secondary…. Did you submit on the day of your deadline?? For example.. if your submission deadline is Sept 30, 2014. Can you submit it the night of Sept 30 or should you submit it the night of the 29th? I could really use the extra day to just review and fine tune my application but don't want to risk missing the deadline. Help me please!!

I called OHSU to ask if your secondary return time is taken into account for admissions. They don't look at the time that lapsed from when you received and submitted the secondary. Also they told me they understand applicants are busy with class and studying for MCAT so you can still submit the secondary after the deadline they give you.

Hello! So if we need additional time we can submit our secondary application after the submission deadline given to us? I could really use the extra time but don't want to miss the deadline if it will hurt me!

I would pull an all nighter if you haven't written them by now. Otherwise submit tomorrow on the day of the deadline.

Thanks for the response! Yes they are written.. If not I wouldn't even bother. I just want to go over it all with a fresh head and make sure I'm not leaving anything out on the work/activities section etc. I just want to clarify when I can submit since it is so vague. All it says is "Your submission deadline is: September 30, 2014."

I would think that would mean until midnight of the 30th.
 
OSS but mission-based group according to "superior academic achievement". I submitted my secondary 7/31 and it was complete 8/25 but I haven't heard anything. Any OSS in a similar situation?
 
Same situation. I am one of those Oregon Heritage Mission groups people and been complete since 8/25 and haven't heard a thing. Check on it daily since then.
 
For those of you who have received an ii, would you mind posting when your file was complete? And whether you are IS or OOS? Thanks.
