Not as long ago as you guys, but I'm still getting the early March response in portal.
 
New week, new news?
As a mid feb interview, "it still says thanks for interviewing with us"

There's definitely an Adcom meeting every Thursday. It says so on the OHSU website. The section that lists all the committee members by name and specialty also says that they need every Thursday for 2-4 hours.

It's possible that there's another step that needs to happen after said meeting in order for acceptances to go out.

Maybe they'll be in Jan and Dec for the next month, probably no Feb until the end of the month or early April, anyone heard of any rejections after interview? I feel like its all holds or accepts after ii

I have no idea how they are going to get through all the interviews... They only have 7 weeks left.

They are just investing more time in evaluating interview info now then anything else! Only one more week of interviews, so they can spend their time on evaluations and not prep! They will get there!

Good point, also no time reviewing apps for interviews or the interview days themselves at that point.
 
Also, how has no one talked about this yet?! I found this a couple days before my interview, and I thought it was FANTASTIC! (I watched the 2nd one also) Thoughts? Did anyone watch this?
 
i'm sort of confused about the hold process. because don't they have to accept a full class worth by march 15? so isn't the hold kind of just an informal waitlist?

I think by AAMC rules they do, although I'm not sure how those rules work. But the hold isn't necessarily just an informal waitlist. On or before April 30th everyone on hold will find their status. So you can be accepted, formally wait listed knowing your number. Or rejected at that point. That last piece is why I wouldn't classify it as a waitlist.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing... Doesn't seem like they would fill if they're accepting ~10% of each interview date.

"All interview invitations have been sent.

If you have already interviewed, final decisions regarding your application will be made no later than April 30, 2015. At that point you will hear a decision of Accept, Alternate, or Refuse."

So at the interview they said that they were reviewing us primarily on our interview performance etc. Does that mean that all stats stuff is out of consideration?

Agree 100%! It is hard to remain upbeat when everything is so up in the air but thanks for keeping us sane!

You are so right! Man-- the last few weeks have been so stressful.. fingers are crossed for good news soon!
 
My heart hurts for wanting this so much.... Gah, definitely not looking forward to the application process again if I don't get in. Props to everyone who is a return applicant. Courage.
Almost at 7 wks post interview.... Please please good news this week.

Just crunched the numbers and it is 12.571428571428571428571428571429 weeks post interview! They said 6-8 and this is way off the mark so they must have screwed up big. Hope some thing happens this week and good luck to all of you who are anxiously waiting for this never ending OHSU drama!

My portal still has not changed from "thank you for interviewing with us" I interviewed 2/20. Hmmm. Does this mean they have not reviewed my file yet?
 
Put on the hold list. Interviewed January 7th. The waiting continues...

They said 4-6 weeks on my interview date, I'm working on 9 weeks. I really cannot fathom how inefficient and lackluster OHSU has been in this process, I really don't care how "holistically" they look at applicants.

You don't care? That's nice, but please pay attention to the fact that OHSU has always maintained that they are not really a rolling admissions school. OHSU doesn't owe it to anyone in this thread to be expedient when it comes to this process. Their mission is to choose ~140 students that will work well together for 4 years and end up serving Oregon's health care needs. They've decided to wait until they've evaluated most of their interviewees before making this decision. You sound frustrated, but please try to maintain the integrity of this very positive thread. <3

I'm assuming that is the case, they are still on January
