No one gets rejected post interview?

Exactly, so being on the waitlist is pretty much meaningless, especially since they wont tell you your position.

April 30th is here! Should we call?

Does anyone know if they send out official rejection letters before the 1st day of the program? If so around what time? I really just want some closure...

I doubt it. I wouldn't expect any communication from this program at all, since it's extremely non-transparent, and waitlists a massive number of applicants while only taking a very small number off the waitlist. I've called multiple times and this program can't even decide if it's allowed to tell us how many people have gotten off the waitlist. The person in-charge too, aside from refusing to communicate about the number of people on the waitlist and how many people get off the waitlist (god forbid we receive helpful information so we can make informed decisions), only had discouraging words to say when I talked to him about our prospects of getting off the waitlist, so keep that in mind.

I already assume I've been rejected, since most of us our probably stuck in no-mans land in the middle of the waitlist. Sending a letter to us is just an end formality. Not coming off a waitlist and being rejected are the same end result.

1. What is the most important health care issue confronting disadvantaged communities and what would be your first steps to address this issue?

2. In what way will graduating from the UCLA PRIME program enhance your career in health care or health services for the disadvantaged communities?

3. Describe the manner in which your experiences demonstrate your understanding of, and commitment to, underserved communities.

4. What are your greatest strengths and your greatest challenges as you approach medical school?

What was the word/character limit?
