Me too! I've gotten two emails in the past 15 min from them, first was about a research study. My heart stopped both times. :/

Yea, same as the others posted. You will "Remain under consideration" and all that. If only it actually was a waitlist email!
 
Good luck to everyone who got the deferred decision type email!! One of the students at my interview said he got it every couple weeks until March when he finally got accepted so it's not over til it's over! Don't lose hope 🙂

That being said, those who did receive decisions today - did any of you get the "we're currently looking at your file and will let you know asap" email!? If so, when? As always, thanks for any info. I'm on pins and needles . Ahhhh

Yeah I got that today as well. Interview was on 9/27. Mayhaps we'll get decisions in the next 2-3 weeks.
 
Any words of encouragement you post-interview peeps could lend to someone interviewing this Saturday?

Be yourself is what I think is important. Your paperwork got you to this stage and now they want to see who you are. Try and relax before you enter the room by taking a deep breath and focusing on the prompt. Treat each room as being your first one so you don't get carried away if one goes really well (or not so well). The evaluators are really nice and are there to basically get an impression of you - so make sure it's you! You may find you really enjoy the format.
 
Did anyone who interviewed Oct 18 hear back? I did not receive any kind of email today

I was talking to someone who was on the admissions committee In previous years. He explained, during the next few months only the "no question candidates" will be accepted now. Very few per cycle, (5-10). March comes the fun! More than half the class develops at the very end of the cycle.

I, for some reason, thought they only meet monthly. Hope you are right though!

Also, anyone know how many acceptances they offer per round?
 
I'm just curious, what does the college of medicine require from those they send an acceptance? Do they give you 2 weeks to accept or require any kind of deposits or anything like that?

No deposit according to info they put out during visit day.
 
I agree. I am also looking to decide between both schools! Anyone have any advice?
 
I am trying to find the match data for the two colleges, but I can't seem to find it.

UA Phx just started graduating its own medical students (I believe its first class just graduated) so there might not be a whole lot of stats to look through because of that.

Sorry for posting so much! Didn't realize I posted my initial comment three times..
Anyways I'm also in-state resident. 32 mcat, 3.7gPA. Waitlisted post-interview from UA phx. Looking for some love with Tucson. In the same both as many of you🙁
