Why on earth do they need our high school extracurriculars? I thought Miami was a long secondary....
 
People with II's, when were you complete? and OOS or IS?

Not entirely sure how to separate these two. What did you guys do for these two?

I said I was happy with my college record and thought I did well. Then I said I had no circumstances adversely affecting my academic performance.
 
FYI You can email any app updates to the admissions office.
 
Does anyone know when the next round of interview invites will be sent out?
 
Secondary complete. I'll submit after proofreading it a few more dozen times....
 
To those who got II's today, were you IS/OOS, and when were you complete?
 
II this morning! I'm IS and was not even complete. Shocked!
 
Did anyone have their interview here last week? How did it go?
 
Submitted the secondary a couple days ago, but I am OOS with absolutely ZERO ties to Kentucky. I will remain hopeful for the time being, but I would not be surprised if I was rejected in the coming days due to their state-ties emphasis.

I thought they meant undergrad... good thing I didn't send mine in yet in case that's wrong. I thought asking that about undergrad was a little weird because for some of us, that was almost a decade ago.
 
Any idea how to check if they received your LoRs? Because on the secondary it says my application was finalized several weeks before my committee uploaded my letters.

Not entirely sure (can't check the portal right now, but perhaps call if you can't find anything), but they grant interviews even without LORs being in.
 
Any new interview invites in the past two weeks? If so, when did you receive it?
 
one interesting piece of info I learned from the admissions office was that 1/3 of last year's class came from the wait list.
 
Can anyone interviewed recently share their experience?
 
Does anyone know how many applicants they accept rather than just how many matriculated. I'm interested in IS specifically.

I feel it is late, however
OOS, no Kentucky ties, 3.74, 31.

According to MSAR: 160 total in class, 120 IS, 40 OOS
Interesting statistic 21% attended UofL as undergrad.

Do you happen to know how many they accept over that 160? They have to accept more than actually attends. I interviewed here last week and forgot to ask.

They did say they accept more but I don't remember the number. based on the 33% wait list coming in, I bet it was a lot.
 
Any recents IIs?
I was complete 9/4 and am IS, but haven't heard anything. I already interviewed at UK, but was just wondering if they have offered any other interviews since the first batch? Considering contacting them if I don't hear by the end of the week anything regarding my application.

I was complete on 8/12/14 and I haven't heard anymore either. I think you're expecting the process to be more expedited than it is with Louisville. However, I'm OSS (I'm in a county in Tennessee that borders the Kentucky state line) with a 29 and a 3.93, so I may just not be a priority because of my low MCAT scores. You may hear back sooner than I do.
 
My secondary has been complete for 3 weeks now and I too haven't gotten an interview invite (an I'm in-state). I don't know why it is taking so long! Please do post if anyone hears from them!
 
OOS applicant here..with no ties to Kentucky :/ Though I do have similar interests in terms of practicing in a rural small area (from GA), so hopefully that may offset any state ties..or better lack there of. oh well...hoping for the best!
