Just got the email..wait listed 🙁
Interviewed 10/10
 
Just waiting for my wait list (or reject) email too--figuring if I didn't get the call yesterday it's only a matter of time.

But they have a lot of wait list movement I'm pretty sure! So there's hope for us all 🙂

Edit: still no email but checked my portal and I'm waitlisted. Such a bummer--out of the schools I've been to really felt like I fit here.

They don't initially accept much more than their class size (around 130 I believe?) but in the end, about 240 get acceptances, so a decent amount of movement!
 
Ugh, well misery loves company. Not sure how the WL moves since it's unranked, and now we have to wait till late spring to early summer...*sigh*
 
Accepted yesterday after interviewing 10/31!! I thought the call was a nice touch. I have an offer from both here and Rush though (which I really liked), so it'll be a tough decision.

Sorry to hear about the rejections today! It looked like last year there were more distinct waves of decisions, but this year it seems like it's a slow-trickle. I'm waiting for mine any day now, but it's interesting to compare.

Sounds exactly like my application. I was also rejected today. Instate, combat vet, 4.0 sGPA, but a 28 MCAT =(

I haven't gotten a single MD interview yet.
 
Sorry to all of you with bad news today! I wish you all the best of luck at other schools! If any of you bunch are still out there, complete dates would be greatly appreciated so I should know if I should be paranoid or not... (Not that I can help it at this point. Checking the portals 3 times daily is normal right??)

Just to throw in some paranoia, but time last year on 12/2, there were a bunch of IIs. Hope it goes to one of us!

EDIT: by a bunch, I mean 3.
 
those with pre-II rejections, do you mind sharing completion date? (complete in late August and I fear I am nearing the chopping block...) also, assuming it was by email?
 
After much thought I've decided to withdraw my application from URMC. It's a great program but I don't realistically see myself moving to Rochester... I hope my interview spot goes to one of you guys!!
 
Rejected this morning. Complete 7/29, man they really dragged that out! First one that stings, this was a top choice of mine.

Good luck to everyone else still in the running and looking for that one school that's the right place to be.
 
Any interviews rolling out? Waiting as patiently as I can for that email!!

Maybe they are not going by date? I have a 3.6 & 32. Anyone similar, or are any much higher?

might be a ranked list for interviews and they probably eliminate certain apps based on EC since they have a very focussed student fit

I am a non-tradish with significant and varied volunteer and over a year of research. I felt like I might be a great match for them but WHO KNOWS!? Better get my calm on and get comfy for the wait though. 🙂

same here..non tradish with strong research background and significant youth outreach volunteering
