Congrats to those accepted! Seems like the folks who interviewed later in the first week of October might have to keep wearing our patience pants a little longer.
 
interviewed mid-september (but not the first week) and no word yet. getting anxious!
 
Does anyone know if Keck has an accepted applicants day, where they give us a more detailed tour?

I don't see anything about a second look weekend. 🙁 I think in previous years they have invited back underrepresented and nontrad students (sadly, I'm ORM/trad), but I'd love to meet the (potential) future class! I think it's pretty important to see how the class chemistry is, but with each year having almost 200 students, maybe that is less of an issue. Hopefully the class Facebook groups go out as the cycle progresses.

Thanks a lot! A little bummed that there isn't a second look, but I'm not gonna complain. Is this your top choice?
 
Has anyone who interviewed early September not receive an email yet? I interviewed on sept. 16th and I'm worried since I haven't heard anything yet. Do you think they may still send emails tomorrow?

In the same boat. I have no idea. I'm really hoping they release it today - I have another interview tomorrow and this is stressing me out probably more than it should.

I interviewed towards the beginning of the first week of October, and I received an email yesterday. I hope everything works out for you!

For the first time last year, the Keck alumni association (Salerni) hosted a second look-esque event for everyone. I would be surprised if they don't do it again.
 
Has anyone heard back from Keck recently or know when they might be releasing admissions again?

I interviewed on 9/12, and I am still waiting to hear back. It's getting a bit nerve wracking.
 
Post secondary rejection today. Sucks, but thankfully I've got some IIs.

Also rejected. OOS, Lizzy 73. Oh well, I have IIs to two reach schools that I'm super excited about. But would have loved to check out USC. Good luck everyone else!
 
Argh, a bunch of schools I'm complete at have been sending out many IIs and rejections lately, and I've heard nothing 😵

Complete at USC 7/28, LizzyM ~76, haven't heard a peep. I suppose I should be happy I haven't been sent a rejection, but it isn't easy to be in perpetual limbo.

Same situation.
 
Haven't heard anything either. From the looks of last year's thread, it seems as if they continuously do review and if you haven't heard anything it just means that they haven't reached a decision yet. It looks like the timing is similar to last year where people were accepted around 10/15, then rejections came out, and IIs didn't come out until around middle of November after that point, so perhaps we have a little bit of a wait.
 
OOS LM69 Reject today.
Only cali school i applied to. Would've loved to fly out for an interview. Sadness. =/
But on goes life.

Sorry about all the rejections guys 🙁

I was complete mid July, also still in limbo. This is such a top choice for me I think I would die if I got a II next week.
 
I've also been in limbo since late July/early August. I don't know if I should be excited or anxious that a rejection is coming my way. An II from here would be amazing
 
when interviewing is it preferred that I refer to the school as USC or refer to it as Keck? Or does it not matter?

just another neurotic premed question...😉

Rejected too yesterday pre-II.. :'( Was definitely a school that I had my heart set on.. I'm going to try an appeal. Anyone think that's a horrible, no good, very bad idea?
