Hey can someone give me an idea of what's going to happen Friday? I know there's clinical rounds in the morning and then some kind of student panel at lunch...but can anyone who's interviewed already give me some better time frames? Thanks!

A person at UT Houston said that her prematches came out at 8am, but I don't know if it included UT Southwestern.

Is this the only TMDSAS school that has P/F and none of that honors/high pass stuff?

In the past, prematch emails for UTSW have gone out right around midnight. I think I got mine at 12:01 AM.

One of the students today told me they try to fill about 2/3 of the class with pre-matches and the rest of the 1/3 with match, then do rolling admissions. Also FYI for those who didn't know, the Registrar told us they don't just send one batch of prematches on Nov 15th...they do it all the way up til Dec

I think I got my II on a Friday night or Saturday night, way past business hours. They can probably set emails to send at a certain date/time. I know I'll be refreshing my email way too much on the 15th...

Quick question: are the Friday morning clinical rounds optional? The only date available is several weeks after my interview date. Should I confirm that date and plan on returning to Dallas?

I would also just shoot them an email to let you know if the Friday before your interview becomes available just so they know you're interested!

Hmmm I don't know about that. I really wouldn't worry about it. I suggested the email just so they would know you were interested, and they would know about openings before the portal.

I kept checking and earlier interviews showed up for me later, so I switched to one of those. I'm sure it will change as people switch around their dates.
