Are these updates under the home screen or under the file status screen? Been seeing mixed answers about which screen to pay attention to.

The update is under the home screen. It's the first thing I can see after I log into the system.

I completed 7/10 as well and I'm IS. I'm sure they are just busy with all the ones submitted before us

I'm also IS, and completed around then with no status change/priority score. It could also be that IS takes longer since they might have to verify we are IS first. It was weird though that we didn't have to turn in any IS forms like UVA. Haha it's going to be a long couple of months.

I have an interesting question. Those of you who got IIs/status updates did you write the 1st essay (cancer/alternative medicine) or the 2nd updated one (underage girl). Probably doesn't matter, but I'm curious. I have too much time on my hands -_- lol.

You might be on the right track with that question haha.
When I went to click "Print Application" the prompt shown is "cancer/alternative medicine," even though I submitted with the 2nd essay under the 2nd prompt. Anyone else have that?
I was complete on 7/14 and no status change yet.

I got the recruitment email, then the MAY status about a week later, and then an II a few days after that so don't be thrown by a MAY status after the recruitment email.

I was complete 7/9 and still rockin the original complete status. I'm OOS though, not sure if that makes a difference.

"It was with a great deal of pleasure that we noted your recent application to our school. The initial file review screening by our subcommittee has identified you as a strong candidate. We begin the interview process in early September. Once a committee member has completed the final review and you are offered an interview, please schedule the interview through the online directions. Mrs. Agnes Mack, the Director of Admissions, has overall responsibility for scheduling interviews and she is assisted by Mr. Joshua Quinn. Mrs. Mack can be reached by e-mail at [email protected] and Mr. Quinn at[email protected]. The Admissions Office phone number is (804) 828-9629. Four days after getting this email, I got a #3 status update, freaked out for a few days, then got an II today!
