Sure! They had a couple of midweek days left in September (17th and 24th) but the earliest weekend dates were 10/20 and 10/24.
 
Submitted secondary 8/9 complete today 8/26
 
Does anyone know if it's safe to book a flight out of Greensboro at 7:30pm the day of an interview with time to take a free shuttle to the airport? Wake Forest's interviews appear to end around 3-3:30pm. Thanks in advance!

I would be wary of that. With that timeline, you'll be leaving the city during 5pm traffic, and on top of that you'll probably have to deal with 40 traffic, which can get moderately bad. I would say you have an 80-90% chance of being fine; it's up to you how much risk you want to take.

I added wake on 8/17 and still haven't received a secondary...should I call or how long should I wait?
 
lol I was verified 8/14 and still no secondary. No rejection either, so I'm pretty confused

The medical school application process can be summarized, "Hurry up and wait" for a reason. Wake hasn't forgotten you, they are just pretty swamped right now. Don't worry!

I spoke to someone in the Admissions office and was told that I would have enough time to catch a 6 pm flight at PTI after the interview. Should I book a later flight just in case?

Here it says that it takes about 45 minutes to get to the airport from campus. http://www.wakehealth.edu/School/MD-Program/Interview-Information.htm
 
i still haven't received the secondary as i was put on hold for a new MCAT score. anyone have an idea on how long it will take admissions to make a decision on sending me a secondary after my scores are released?

I was in the same boat, and received the secondary 3 weeks after my score was released.
 
What is the largest selectivity factor for Wake Forest? Submitted a week ago and waiting for a secondary now.
 
What's the average wait time been for receiving a complete email? I submitted my secondary on Aug 20, and am wondering if I should send admissions an email?

i submitted mine end of july, and i just got a complete email a few days ago (so it nearly took a month for me to be complete)
 
I read somewhere that Wake's average timespan from secondary to II is 3-5 weeks. Is it common for it to take longer than that? I was complete before 7/22, wondering if no news is bad news?
 
Complete 7/22 and silence here. If the above post is true, doesn't look too good for me.

Sounds like hearsay. I'd take this with a grain of salt. Usually a month or two post completion without a word is cause for worry.

Not sure I'd believe this either, unless this is specific to Wake Forest SOM. I've heard plenty of people get invites many months after submission of their secondary (though maybe Wake Forest does it differently). Usually it's mostly people with very high stats who are receiving multiple interview invites this early. The rest of us mortals have to wait it out until October-March to hear back from schools about IIs.

Of course, this doesn't stop me from obsessively checking my inbox every couple of hours...

Interesting... I am waiting for my second MCAT scores but still received a secondary

Have any re-applicants received an II or does anyone know if being a re-applicant effects the application timeline at Wake?

Nope! I had that status, but I received an II in the first round! It may just mean that your application has been reviewed and a decision has been made about whether or not to extend an II. Best of luck!
 
Also placed on hold while waiting on my MCAT score. Received a 30. hopefully they'll update my file, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for an II 😀

Placed on hold? Did you get an email saying you are on hold? I was complete mid July haven't heard a word... OOS 73

The email stated that I was placed on hold, pending my new MCAT scores. I have yet to receive the secondary.
 
I added Wake on 07/24, got the secondary 08/08, and submitted it 08/13. I haven't heard anything since and have yet to get the "complete" email
 
Added Wake about 2 or 3 weeks ago, just got an email with my log in info. This is my status:

"Your primary application from AMCAS has been received. It is being evaluated and you will be sent an e-mail notification of your status within 1-2 weeks."

Hoping to get the secondary in the next week or so, I have it pre-written already but I hope it's not too late to submit it by then...

I'm a re-applicant with a II from here--however this is my first time applying to Wake Forest. From what I hear though, it shouldn't really make a difference (as long as you have improved your application in some way).

I submitted it on 8/13 and havne't been marked complete either lol... It says it takes up to two weeks, I guess they're just behind

Really glad I'm not the only one. I submitted 8/18 and still not marked as complete. I panicked for a moment and thought that I had forgotten to send in LORs or something but I guess they're just a little slow on processing apps.
