Submitted 7/14. LizzyM around 72 or so. Also good motto! Having no IIs at all here is driving me nuts, even though it is VERY early in the cycle.

Well, I mean if you have "meth dealer" in your app you'd get a rejection straightaway, but otherwise...

I always remind myself of my buddy with a LizzyM of 80 not getting any II's until mid September and ultimately getting some crazy offers... Then I remember I'm not my buddy lol

Truth. Can't do anything but wait, and occasionally try to take a break from obsessively checking app portals / this website. Maybe its time to pick up some old hobbies again
 
Is there a specific page that lists which schools have started sending out interview invites, etc.? I think many schools have still not sent out info yet and wanted to make sure I didn't have to keep checking so many different pages.

Anyone know how long the Tulane Interview lasts? trying to figure out what time to book my return flight
 
Did you guys receive an email once your application was complete? I just received one that stated my application was complete (my final red mark is now green). Does that mean they reviewed my app and I'm not in the II group yet? Or for those of you who got an II, did you also receive that email prior to receiving your II?
 
I was complete on 7/13 but my June MCAT wasn't back until the 21st...so maybe I was officially "complete" the 21st. I haven't heard anything and have the red check as well.
 
anyone not get a complete email but green status (in progress)? When i go to the portal under communication it says I am complete on 7/9 but i never got an actual email stating that. I hope theres not an error in like their communication with some of us
 
Just to ease some peoples tensions, I had the green check since around 7/11 and submitted my secondary 7/9.

Yes, I have exactly this. Green status, in progress, complete status in communication tab, never received a complete email.
 
Don't loose hope. I got a II!! this mornining at 8:36 AM but just checked mye-mails now !!. Interview on the 13th of October.

Rejection email this morning - thankful that they don't keep you waiting all cycle. Good luck to everyone else still in the running!

Nah. I've got like a 74-75, with a GPA of 3.5! Tbh I'm still in shock at my Duke interview invite. But I figure that surely if they liked me, other schools will? Maybe I'm being too optimistic and I just got lucky haha

I hope it works out for you! Although I got a really early interview with Duke and felt like it went really well. And that was my only one last year (so their March fiasco was an extra special time for me). Just remember that humility is key throughout the whole process. I hope I'm an anomaly though and you'll get your chance at many schools like duke!
 
when you guys login to the portal does it say rejected? I checked randomly like two weeks ago and was positive that it was rejected next to the 'application complete' space and basically forgot about tulane after that. but i just check the portal and now it says 'in progress'...and I haven't gotten an email. not sure what to make of this?

Yep, it says "Final Decision: Reject." Womp womppp. I'd say you're still in the running! Especially if you never got an email about your status changing.
 
Got my first rejection too... I was hoping to get in interview invite first so i hope this isn't a bad omen... alas
 
Huh. This is interesting because their FAQ says that they rarely reject people during the app season. I guess they must've changed the policy.

Rejected too! LizzyM of 76. I kind of had that feeling that it was coming when I could not fill in the checkboxes for those activities they were looking for. My first rejection.
 
I might be imagining things, but I think I had the green in progress check yesterday. This morning it was back to red.
